Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro eliminated Nina Mayster after the dancers were required to teach an amateur a ballroom routine in just two days during the episode that aired Monday night on ABC.

"It sucks. It hurts. I haven't cried like this in a while," Nina cried in her final words.

"Dancing for 10 years, I did value myself as a dancer, and all of that changed. And I am better than I came in her being, and I know my worth. I want to thank [the judges] for the knowledge and the time."

The Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro broadcast began with only five dancers left in the competition and the semi-finals right around the corner.

After host Robert Irwin announced Dancing with the Stars pro Witney Carson as the next guest judge, Witney challenged the cast to "tackle the most fundamental skill" a pro partner needs on Dancing with the Stars -- the ability to teach an amateur.

"This is a pro's most testing role, and being great at it is non-negotiable," Witney noted.

Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro judge, Mark Ballas -- who serves as a regular judge alongside his mother, Shirley Ballas -- added, "This challenge goes to the very core of the job on Dancing with the Stars. If you can't teach an amateur, you should not be on the show."

Witney explained how each of the five dancers would be performing a ballroom routine with a fan of Dancing with the Stars and would only have two days to rehearse.

Nina, who has teaching experience, noted in a confessional, "If I don't go 150-freaking percent, I'm going home!"

Nina performed a foxtrot with her amateur, Jay, for the judges first.

Shirley admitted, "There were some fundamental issues. When it comes to actually postural elements, the hold was not correct and the footwork was incorrect. And also, when dance ballroom, your feet should be in a parallel position."

Witney said she appreciated Nina's surprise hip-hop moves but she gave her partner a lot of instruction and "time management is very important" in this job.

Adele Zaikman then took the stage with her amateur, Anthony, and they danced the tango.

Mark said the routine "moved and had dynamics," and he praised Adele for doing an ambitious routine.

Shirley called Adele "fierce and fair," although she would've liked a bit more fun. Shirley complimented Adele's decision to take risks, and Witney noticed Adele doing some "pro tricks" during the performance.

"She can do the job," Witney whispered to the other judges.

Next up was AJ Pritchard taking the stage with a Viennese waltz alongside his amateur, Bailey.

Witney said the pair's routine was beautiful and very technically sound.

"AJ, I would've loved a little bit more of an emotional moment," Witney noted.

Mark said they traveled well across the stage, and Shirley gushed, "AJ, what you did in two days is miraculous. The assignment was coaching, and you absolutely killed it!"

Allen Genkin then danced a waltz with his amateur, Zaira.

Shirley said she loved the performance and the partnership was filled with beauty and freedom.

"We got a little bit lost when it came to the basic steps. You couldn't quite get your feet together. Allen, if you could just tighten up your basics, I think you will be a force to be reckoned with," Shirley said.

Witney praised the pair's apparent connection and trust, and Mark thought it was a "solid" routine with great energy. Mark said Allen had done "a fantastic job" in just two days.

Finally, Selena performed a quickstep with her amateur partner, Jeremy.

Witney told Selena that her jazz background came through but quickstep content was lacking.

Mark said the routine was fun, sharp and quick, but Shirley reminded Selena that the assignment was coaching.

"I want to be able to tell from here if you can coach, and it starts with the character of the dance. And the character of the quickstep is a traveling dance; it is not a stationary dance," Shirley explained.

She added, "I am a rule person... and quickstep is what I want to see. But well done, anyway."

After the five pairs took the stage, Mark announced that Nina and Selena were in jeopardy of elimination.

"I feel like both these dances lacked a little bit of floor craft. When these dances travel, it gives the celebrity their best opportunity to shine within the genre of the dance that's allocated," Mark explained to the bottom-two dancers.

Shirley declared that it was "a very, very difficult decision" because she believed that both ladies lacked knowledge.

This ended up being the last dance for Nina.
