"Yeah, it has to be the whole package. I'm super proud of Tinashe. She did amazing this season," said Brandon, who landed towards the top of the judges' leaderboard each week with his celebrity partner.
"Brandon did amazing. His first season, so good!" Tinashe interjected.
"It was an amazing first season. Thank you for the opportunity," Brandon noted.
The other couple in jeopardy of elimination prior to Tinashe and Brandon's exit was actress and Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch and partner Keo Motsepe; however, they were not necessarily the other bottom-two couple based on judges' scores and America votes.
Monday night's broadcast, dubbed "Trios Night," featured each celebrity and professional pairing performing one dance with a third person, who turned out to be a former Dancing with the Stars standout contestant or a friend of the celebrity.
The couple danced a salsa with actor, musician and Season 20 Dancing with the Stars finalist Riker Lynch. Len said the performance was "clean" and "controlled" and had "attack."

Carrie Ann called the routine "perfect," while Bruno added it was "electrifying."
Two couples tied for second place on the leaderboard with 26 points: Tinashe and Brandon as well as Mary Lou Retton, a former Olympic gymnast with five medals, and partner Sasha Farber.
Tinashe and Brandon performed a tango routine with paralympic snowboarder and Season 18 Dancing with the Stars runner-up Amy Purdy. Bruno called the dance "superb" and Carrie Ann said the choreography was very "innovative."
Mary Lou and Sasha took the stage with Olympic gymnast and Season 20 Dancing with the Stars semi-finalist Nastia Liukin. The trio performed a Charleston routine that Bruno said was "as invigorating as a double espresso."
Fourth place on the leaderboard belonged to model and Cover Girl Alexis Ren and partner Alan Bersten. Alongside professional dancer and former Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler, the trio performed a 25-point worthy tango routine.
Two couples tied for fifth place on the judges' leaderboard with 24 points.
Actor and country music singer John Schneider and partner Emma Slater placed eighth on the leaderboard with 21 points. The pair performed the tango with N'SYNC member and Season 4 Dancing with the Stars runner-up Joey Fatone, who also competed on Season 15 of the ABC reality dancing series.
And last but not least, Bachelor in Paradise star Joe Amabile and partner Jenna Johnson continue to sit in last place on the leaderboard.
On Monday night, the couple earned only 15 points for their salsa routine which included Joe's The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise 5 buddy Jordan Kimball. The trio performed an entertaining dance, but the content was lacking and Jordan had a wardrobe malfunction that threw him off his steps.
