Dancing with the Stars eliminated Elisabetta Canalis and professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy during Tuesday night's second live thirteenth-season results show on ABC.

The model and George Clooney ex-girlfriend and Chmerkovskiy became the second couple ousted from the competition based on the combination of the Dancing with the Stars judges' scores they had received during Monday night's performance show and the home viewer votes that were cast afterwards.

"For me, it was a gift dancing here, really. It was a great adventure, so I want to thank everybody because they made me come here. Thanks to the public, to everyone who voted for us. Now, I'm really nervous but thank you anyway. It was a great experience!" Canalis said following her elimination when asked by Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke what she will remember most from her time on the show.

"I'm very proud of her. I'm sorry. I wish I did better for you, but I'm very lucky to be here and I really appreciate the opportunity," Chmerkovskiy added.

Canalis and Chmerkovskiy had finished in a fourth-place tie on Monday night's judging leaderboard after they danced a quickstep routine that received 21 out of 30 possible points from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

The three other couples who had also received 21 points were Keeping Up with the Kardashians sibling Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke, singer and actress Chynna Phillips and partner Tony Dovolani, and legal commentator Nancy Grace and partner Tristan MacManus.

Grace and MacManus performed a quickstep routine, while Kardashian and Burke and Phillips and Dovolani danced a jive.

Actor David Arquette and partner Kym Johnson were the other couple still in danger of elimination prior to Canalis and Chmerkovskiy's ouster, as Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron revealed they were the other pair in the bottom two based on the combination of the judges' scoring and home viewer votes from Monday night's performance show.

Arquette and Johnson had finished tied for ninth place on Monday night's judging leaderboard with fashion expert and former Queer Eye star Carson Kressley and partner Anna Trebunskaya. Arquette and Johnson performed a jive routine that earned them 18 points, while Kressley and Trebunskaya danced a quickstep which also received 18 points.

Former talk show host Ricki Lake and partner Derek Hough had topped the judges' leaderboard in first place after they received 23 points for their jive routine.

Iraqi war veteran and All My Children soap star J.R. Martinez and former The Hills star Kristin Cavallari finished tied for second place on the leaderboard with their partners after they each received 22 points from the judges.

Martinez danced a jive with partner Karina Smirnoff, while Cavallari performed a quickstep with partner Mark Ballas.

American women's soccer star Hope Solo finished two points behind them in eighth place with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy after they earned 19 points for their jive performance.

Transgender advocate Chaz Bono and partner Lacey Schwimmer finished at the bottom of the leaderboard in eleventh place with 17 points after they performed a quickstep routine that wasn't nearly as well received by the judges.
