Radio personality Adam Carolla and his professional partner Julianne Hough were revealed to be the fourth couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars' sixth season during last night's live results show broadcast on ABC.

Adam and Julianne -- the reigning, two-time mirror ball trophy winning professional -- were booted from the competition based on a combination of the judges' scores from Monday night's performance episode and home viewer votes cast immediately following the broadcast.

"I had the time of my life.  I lost 20-pounds of fat and gained 105-pounds of angel.  I love this girl," said Adam, a reference to Julianne.

"I recommend this experience to anyone who's scared of everything.  I'm going to get philosophical for one second.  We all don't get the opportunity to do Dancing with the Stars, but you at home, there's something that scares you.  There's something that is your Dancing with the Stars.  Embrace it.  Don't run from it.  Do it."

Adam and Julianne performed a paso doble routine during Monday night's performance episode broadcast and the judges scored it a 19 out of 30 possible points -- the lowest judges' score of the night.  However the routine was entertaining, as Adam donned a Zorro-themed costume complete with a fake mustache and also performed part of the paso doble while riding a unicycle.

"It was smooth and it was dramatic.  Your turns were fantastic... and then you got off the unicycle," commented Carrie Ann Inaba.  "I don't know.  It was great.  It was interesting.  I've never seen one like that.  So I give you an 'A' for creativity."

Fellow judge Len Goodman said he always wondered why anyone would ever want to ride a unicycle.

"Now we know it's to dance the paso doble," he joked.  "You are such a lovable character that [we] just want you to do well.  Unfortunately, you're not much of a dancer.  But Julianne... You danced it quite well.  But when you're looking at the [other couples]... Well done."

Adam then thanked the wardrobe department for dressing him like a "silent porn star."

"Just rub a little Vaseline in your eyes and we look like Kristi Yamaguchi out there.  Come one!" pleaded Adam.

Bruno Tonioli suggested Adam be sent to see a psychoanalyst because "Zorro on a bike" is something he's "never seen before."

"You are the classic example where genius and insanity goes hand in hand," added Bruno.  "Unfortunately when it comes to dance, the insanity takes over and the dancing goes down the drain.  But I have to give you one for trying."

Before Adam and Julianne's ouster, host Tom Bergeron revealed Elvis' ex-wife Priscilla Presley and her partner Louis van Amstel were the other couple in the bottom two based on a combination of the judges' scores from Monday night's performance episode and home viewer votes cast immediately following the broadcast.

"We'd lose fun, we'd lose entertainment, enjoyment, the anticipation of what's going to happen next week," said Len when asked by Tom what the competition would be like without Adam.  "I think it would be a tragedy if he went.  I think he's been great fun and a joy to watch."

"I'm very curious if Julianne can turn Adam into a dancer because something is happening," added Carrie Ann.  "But Priscilla, you are the better dancer.  You bring such grace, so I'd love to see you stay."

Adam and Julianne were then revealed to be booted.  The ouster represents the first time Julianne has not won a Dancing with the Stars installment she participated in after winning the fourth season with Apolo Anton Ohno and fifth season with Helio Castroneves.

"Everybody sees him as the funny guy, but he's amazing," said Julianne of Adam.  "He's a really great guy."

Sitting atop the Dancing with the Stars judges' leaderboard for the third week in a row were Olympic gold medalist figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi and her partner Mark Ballas. The couple scored a 29 out of 30 possible points for their paso doble and also received the first two 10's of the season from Carrie Ann and Bruno.

Tied with Kristi and Mark with a 29 for their Viennese waltz were NFL star Jason Taylor and his partner Edyta Sliwinska, who also received a set of 10's from Carrie Ann and Bruno.

Hot on the leaders' heels were actress Shannon Elizabeth and her partner Derek Hough, who received a 28 for their Viennese waltz a week after Derek injured his neck while rehearsing a group routine last Tuesday afternoon.  The couple also received a 10 from Len.

Telenovela actor Christian de la Fuente and his partner Cheryl Burke remained in the middle of the pack with a 26 for their paso doble.

Right behind Christian and Cheryl with a score of 24 were Tony Award-winning actress Marissa Jaret Winokur and her partner Tony Dovolani with their paso doble; R&B singer Mario and his partner Karina Smirnoff with their paso doble; and Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin and her partner Fabian Sanchez with their Viennese waltz.

Priscilla and Louis received a 22 for their Viennese waltz -- however the score could have been higher had they not been penalized for performing a lift during their routine.

"I would have given you a higher mark," commented Len on Monday night, "but I've got to drop a point because you did do a lift.  Lifts are forbidden."

Dancing with the Stars' next sixth-season performance episode broadcast will air Monday, April 14 at 8PM ET/PT, in which each of the eight remaining couples will perform either the samba or rumba.

On Tuesday night beginning at 9PM ET/PT, one couple will be eliminated based on a combination of the judges scores from Monday night and home viewer votes cast immediately following the broadcast.
