Dale Moss has denied Sean McLaughlin's allegation he wasn't going to take Katherine "Kat" Izzo seriously if they left Bachelor in Paradise still dating.

When Sean self-eliminated from Bachelor in Paradise's tenth season, he shouted on his way out of the resort, "Dale, I love you, but Kat, don't call me crying after this one ends."

Sean subsequently insisted to the cameras in a confessional, "Dale is going to leave Kat the moment this sh-t ends. Everyone knows that."

Dale told Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt during a recent appearance on their "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that Sean "was just worked up" and letting off steam in that moment.

"I think he was hurt based on some of the things that he perceived, or whatever. But ultimately, I don't invest time in people that I don't care about," Dale said, shutting down Sean's biting remarks.

"Through the season, you can see how there could be some conflict or we have triggers and things like that, but the reality is, time is valuable. I've got a lot going on and I respect what people have going on in their life."

Dale added, "I don't take a connection and those things very lightly."

Dale therefore assumed that Sean was just coming "from a place of frustration" after his strategizing and politicking in Paradise backfired on him and secured him enough votes to leave the resort.

Dale suggested that if he didn't really want to be Kat's boyfriend, he'd have no good reason to stick around.

"Because at the end of the day, I walked on the beach also saying that if someone was not here for me, I was fine with leaving on my own terms. I'm very secure on my own," Dale said.

"I want to build a life, I want to have a relationship, I want to get married, and I want to have kids. But I'm not pressed on those things."

Dale insisted, as a result, that he's "very intentional" when dating a woman, and he added, "I'm doing it because I want to."

Dale seemed to have genuine interest in both Alli Jo Hinkes and Allyshia Gupta while dating Kat earlier this season, but according to The Bachelorette 16 alum, he was never going to leave Kat.

"I told [Allyshia], 'I'd be open [to going on a date]. You seem like a great person to learn more about'... I thought it was important to let her know exactly where I was at," Dale recalled.

"And ultimately, we could've gone on a date, but I didn't want her to waste it on me because regardless of how that date went, my rose was going to go to Kat."

Dale pointed out how he felt other connections but his budding romance with Kat was deeper.

"We worked through real problems and some conflict and some high moments and everything, and I wasn't willing to throw that away just because someone new came in," Dale explained.

Dale shared that one of the things he loved most about Kat was how she was totally herself on Bachelor in Paradise from start to finish.

"She was going to be who she was going to be regardless," Dale noted.

Dale -- who said he never watched Kat on Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2023 -- explained how "there is a beauty in someone being who they are."

Dale elaborated, "They don't have to be perfect. They can be messy at times."

And Dale confirmed that Kat was not "too much" for him, despite what her haters seem to think.

"If people can express themselves and have fun and just be unapologetically themselves, that's extremely attractive to me," Dale gushed.

When asked if Kat is his type, Dale said he doesn't have a type because he's dated women of all different races and from different backgrounds.

"Kat, I would say, is typically not my type, to be honest. Some of my previous relationships -- my last three -- were my age or older and they were all entrepreneurs," Dale told Joe and Serena.

"So Kat was definitely unique in that sense... but we were able to laugh and have fun, and we were able to move through things pretty quickly. At the core of it, if values are the same and they have a kind heart and a good spirit, [I'm attracted]."

Dale concluded how he has "so much love and respect" for Kat and she "handled herself remarkably" all season long.

Kat and Dale will be featured on Bachelor in Paradise's Season 10 finale airing on Tuesday, September 2 at 8PM ET/PT.

A preview of the finale shows Sean accusing Kat of having gone on Bachelor in Paradise for her career and to stir up drama.

Allyshia Gupta also recently alleged on "The Viall Files" podcast that Kat had a boyfriend back home -- and was secretly messaging him -- during filming.

Dale reacted to Allyshia's allegations during his chat with Joe and Serena on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.

Allyshia, for her part, predicted that Kat is going to "deny, lie and cry" about her alleged two-timing.
