"So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world," The Voice coach tweeted on Sunday.

Summer Rain was born on Saturday in Los Angeles, according to People.

Aguilera, 33, announced her engagement in February only to reveal a week later she was pregnant with Rutler's child. The singer announced in March she was expecting a girl.

Aguilera and Rutler have been dating for over three years after meeting on the set of Aguilera's 2010 film Burlesque. They became acquainted while she was in the middle of divorcing her ex-husband Jordan Bratman, with whom she wed in November 2005 and has a six-year-old son named Max Liron.

The Voice coach and Bratman split in October 2010 and finalized their divorce on Valentine's Day 2011.

Aguilera had been expected to return to The Voice after Shakira filled in for her for Season 6, however, she won't be returning to the show and sitting in one of the four big red chairs until Season 8.

Aguilera starred on The Voice for its first three seasons before taking a break in Season 4, when she was replaced by Shakira, to spend time with her son and concentrate on her music career. The singer returned to serve as a coach for Season 5.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have served as mainstay coaches on The Voice since the show debuted in Spring 2011, while coaches Cee Lo Green and Usher -- like Aguilera and Shakira -- had been taking turns on the panel in recent seasons. However, Green will never be coming back to the reality singing competition.

Next season, The Voice's seventh edition, will feature Levine, Shelton, Pharrell Williams, and Gwen Stefani as coaches.
