USA Network has announced it's ordered a third season of the hit reality series Chrisley Knows Best, which stars self-made millionaire Todd Chrisley, an outlandish and overprotective "patriarch of perfection," and his seemingly perfect Southern family.

The network has ordered 12 episodes of Chrisley Knows Best, which chronicles the lives of Todd, his wife Julie, his five children all varying in age -- Lindsie, Kyle, Chase, Savannah, and Grayson -- and his two baby grandchildren.

A half-hour long holiday special will also air this December on USA.

"Viewers have embraced the Chrisleys for their witty one-liners, laugh-out-loud moments and heartfelt everyday situations," Chris McCumber, President of USA Network, said in a statement. "This family has made an indelible imprint on pop culture, and we're excited to continue the entertaining journey with them in season three."

The second season of Chrisley Knows Best premiered October 14 and airs on Tuesday nights at 10PM ET/PT. It will feature Savannah's first date, Chase's memorable eighteenth birthday, Father's Day, the family moving into a new home, and the clan going on a camping trip and vacation to Malibu.

A marathon of Season 1, as well as the first four episodes of the second season, will air on Sunday, October 26 from 9AM-4PM.

Chrisley Knows Best is produced by Maverick TV and All3Media America, with Adam Greener, Stephanie Bloch Chambers, Jim Sayer, Eli Holzman, and Stephen Lambert serving as executive producers.
