Chad Johnson's wild antics on Bachelor in Paradise probably led fans to believe the franchise would banish him forever, but he'll reportedly be resurfacing in a surprising way.

Johnson will make an appearance on former The Bachelor star Ben Higgins and his fiancee Lauren Bushnell's upcoming reality show Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? is set to premiere Tuesday, October 11 at 8PM ET/PT on Freeform. The Bachelor spinoff had been ordered by the network back in June (and, perhaps interestingly, didn't originally feature a question mark in the title when announced).

It remains unclear what the reason will be for Johnson -- the franchise villain who has made a name for himself by swearing at women, getting drunk and being brutally, offensively "honest" -- to appear on the show.

Johnson have reportedly been attempting to land other possible TV gigs. The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss even previously noted a spinoff starring the luxury real estate agent from Tulsa, OK, would be entertaining.

Bushnell, a former flight attendant, recently spoke to ET and revealed she has launched her own lifestyle blog. Her wedding plans with Higgins will also likely be filmed for the new series.

Bushnell and Higgins got engaged at the end of The Bachelor's twentieth season. Higgins chose Bushnell over runner-up JoJo Fletcher, who moved on to become Season 12's The Bachelorette star.
