Celebrity Big Brother crowned Ryan Lochte the season's first Head of Household, and he in turn nominated two people for eviction to join Jonathan Bennett on the chopping block during Tuesday night's Season 2 episode on CBS.

After Ryan was crowned HoH, Jonathan automatically became a nomination for eviction because the men had been paired for a power-pair challenge with a twist.

But in a surprise twist, Ryan was forced to nominate the usual two people for eviction, which would result in more blood on his hands.

Ryan therefore decided to nominate actor and comedian Tom Green as well as former White House director of communications and financier Anthony Scaramucci for eviction.

The cast of Season 2 of Celebrity Big Brother is made up of the following male houseguests: Tom; Anthony; Ryan, a former Olympic swimming medalist and What Would Ryan Lochte Do? star; Jonathan, an actor and TV host; actor and former O.J. Simpson houseguest Kato Kaelin; actor and singer Joey Lawrence; and former superstar NFL running back Ricky Williams.

The female houseguests are singer and Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton, singer and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, Olympic track and bobsled star Lolo Jones, Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina Lohan, and former WWE wrestler and Total Divas star Natalie Eva Marie.

The Celebrity Big Brother broadcast began with Jonathan complaining about how he'd have to defeat an Olympic athlete in a competition to avoid the chopping block and stay in the house.

Ryan also felt bad he would have to go head to head against his "boy" in the house, but he was confident he would win whatever challenge came their way.

"It turns out not winning the first competition was a good thing," Joey pointed out.

Jonathan decided to talk to Ryan and try to get seven people in an alliance with them so no matter what happens, they'd both have the numbers and be safe.

Jonathan suggested they try to win over Natalie, Lolo, Tamar, Joey, and Kandi.

Jonathan had been hoping to float through the game, but that definitely wasn't happening.

He and Ryan also agreed to be "ride or die" allies through the end of the game. Ryan had faith Jonathan could attract more people because he's "so likable."

Tamar and Lolo were quickly brought onboard with Jonathan's plan, but she was worried Kandi might secretly go after her because of their tense past in the music industry.

Tamar therefore spoke to Kandi herself, and the girls promised to look out for each other.

Lolo then worked on bringing Joey into the alliance through a gym session together. Joey, however, admitted he hated the word "alliance" and had no intention of joining one unless it was absolutely necessary, which complicated Jonathan's strategy.

"Whoa! Does he know what game he's playing?!" Jonathan said in the Diary Room.

Jonathan figured his group would be fine without Joey but the only way he'd definitely be safe would be to win the upcoming competition.

Meanwhile, Anthony was shown telling Tom there's no chance he'd ever be invited back to work in the White House because President Donald Trump is surrounded by politicians and Washington operatives who wouldn't want people "from his neck of the woods around."

Anthony also insisted the state of America's economy is currently great.

Jonathan and Ryan then secured a Final 4 deal with Lolo and Natalie. Jonathan was so pleased to have a tight alliance comprised of athletes. The girls also loved how Ryan would bring the brawn and Jonathan would bring the brains and charm.

However, Lolo and Natalie had their own Final 2 deal set in stone already, and they intended to keep the boys around -- until the end. Tamar then asked Lolo, Natalie and Kandi to promise they'd never stab each other in the back.

Tamar wanted the girls to run through this game together and always report back to each other with news or suspicions. Tamar thought it was the best decision ever to form an all-female alliance.

Since Natalie and Lolo had already teamed up with Jonathan and Ryan, Natalie planned to play both sides until she had to drop somebody and show her cards.

It then became time for Ryan and Jonathan to compete in a challenge dubbed "Blockbusters" since they had won the previous power-pair Head of Household competition.

The guys were required to fly across the yard via zip line to a set of billboards in attempt to knock them down with their bodies.

The celebrity to completely knock down both billboards would become the season's first Head of Household, while the loser would immediately become a nominee and get put up on the chopping block.

Jonathan missed his billboards multiple times, while it only took Ryan one attempt to knock down most of the blocks on both billboards.

Dina called Jonathan an "extended child" of hers and recognized he'd be heartbroken if he got nominated for eviction during Week 1.

It was a close race, but in the end, Ryan won the competition and became the first HoH of Celebrity Big Brother 2.

"In the Celebrity Big Brother house, this is the gold medal... I didn't want to get this much blood on my hands, but I can't help that I'm a strong competitor!" Ryan said in the Diary Room.

Part of Ryan's responsibilities as HoH was to nominate two houseguests for eviction. Celebrity Big Brother host Julie Chen revealed those two nominees would sit next to Jonathan on the block, meaning there would be three nominees total.

Ryan had to make a decision in 30 minutes, so the pressure was on.

Anthony worried he was going to be a nomination because Ryan was "a stone cold killer" and it would be a smart move. Ryan, however, told Jonathan he wanted to put up Dina -- and then Jonathan suggested he target Joey as well.

Ryan refused to tell Kandi what he was thinking during all of his plotting, so she actually began to question the sincerity of their alliance, venting to the cameras, "The shade is real."

Afterward, Tom, Kato and Anthony were shown making an alliance.

Ryan then told Tamar and Lolo he was thinking about nominating Dina and Anthony. Kandi didn't understand why Ryan had been evasive with her but so open with the other girls, so she decided to keep her options open going forward.

Jonathan told Ryan to save Dina for a later week and maybe nominate Tom instead. Jonathan just felt like he had to protect Dina because she had been like a second mother to him when he was in his twenties and Lindsay would be mad at him.

Since there were a few names being tossed around, Ryan decided to "wing it" last minute.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Ryan announced he wanted to put Anthony and Tom on the chopping block next to Jonathan.

"I love you guys," Ryan told the guys after nominating them.

Anthony wanted to figure out a way he could "adapt and pivot" to last longer in the house.

Because Ryan did not nominate Dina for eviction, Jonathan felt he could "totally trust" Ryan "100 percent."

Meanwhile, Tom was hoping to play this game under the radar, but now he said he's in it to win it.
