The Dancing with the Stars judge has announced that she and boyfriend Artem Chigvintsev decided to end their two-and-a-half-year relationship last November.

"I'm single," Inaba told People magazine in a Thursday report. "Artem and I broke up in the beginning of November. As much as our relationship was really good, the two realized that neither 'was 'the one' for the other. It was very sad to let go of something that was so good on so many levels."

Inaba met Chigvintsev while he was competing on the first season of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance and began dating in 2006. After dating for a little more than a year, Inaba moved into a three-bedroom Los Angeles, CA house with Chigvintsev.

Even though she has been broken up with him for months, the Dancing with the Stars judges was only complimentary of Chigvintsev, who is currently participating on Dancing with the Stars' winter tour.

'[He's] a fine gentleman," Inaba told People. "I have never gone out with somebody that grounded, always ready to talk it out. I'm very happy for him and the success he's having."
