Valastro, 37, pleaded guilty to a violation of driving while his ability was impaired during a court appearance on Monday, People reported.

"I pled guilty today because I wanted to make this right. I learned an important lesson that if you have even one drink you shouldn't drive. I thought I was fine to drive, but I wasn't. I put people in danger. I am very disappointed in myself," Valastro tweeted Monday morning.

The reality TV star must pay a $300 fine and has reportedly lost his license for 90 days.

"I want to thank everyone for their support. I also want to apologize to everyone," Valastro continued on Twitter. "I'll never get behind the wheel of a car again, even after one sip. My sincerest apologies to my family, friends and fans."

According to a New York City Police Department representative, Valastro "was noticeably unsteady on his feet, bloodshot watery eyes" at the time of his arrest, People reported.

Valastro was taken into custody in New York City at around 1AM on November 13 for driving a vehicle while intoxicated. He was reportedly pulled over in his yellow 2014 Corvette for "driving erratically" and swerving in and out of lanes near Hudson Yards along 10th Avenue, according to Us Weekly.

After allegedly failing multiple field sobriety tests, the reality TV star was booked in Manhattan on a DWI charge, his first offense.

Cake Boss, which chronicles Valastro's family business, premiered in April 2009 on TLC.
