Brendan accompanied Tayshia on her first one-on-one date of the season, and he quickly became smitten with her. In turn, Tayshia called Brendan "everything" and said kissing him felt like she was kissing "my person."
"I feel really connected to him... I don't think I've felt this way ever," Tayshia gushed on the show.
But when Brendan participated in a lie-detector test on a group date and was asked some tough questions about his blossoming relationship with Tayshia, his results came back inconclusive, which suggested he wasn't entirely ready to introduce Tayshia to his family or to meet her family.
Brendan also expressed some hesitancy when asked whether he'd be ready to propose marriage by the end of the The Bachelorette process.
Brendan, however, assured the cameras, "Tayshia is a really unique woman, for sure. She is sweet and genuine, and I do feel Tayshia and I have a real connection."
Is Tayshia and Brendan's "real connection" enough for them to end up together and potentially get engaged, or will Brendan come down with a case of cold feet?
Until viewers can watch more of Tayshia and Brendan's romance unfold on the show, let's learn a little bit about the The Bachelorette bachelor right now.
Below is a list of ten facts Reality TV World has compiled about Brendan Morais.
Brendan has been married and divorced before, just like Tayshia
Brendan got married in his early twenties to his high school sweetheart.
Brendan said their families had been friends since the pair were in elementary school and getting married just seemed like the next step for them as a couple.
Brendan says infidelity, abuse or addiction played no role in his divorce
Brendan admits he and his former wife just fell out of love and they weren't ready for a lifelong commitment.
"I didn't know who I was without her, and she didn't really know who she was without me," Brendan has explained. "We did counseling and it was definitely hard for me knowing that I failed to a certain extent."
Brendan says his family couldn't comprehend why Brendan wanted to get divorced and so he and his ex stuck it out and tried counseling. However, Brendan finally felt the need to part ways once he learned children weren't in his wife's future.
Brendan longs to be a father and have a family of his own
The Bachelorette bachelor, who believes he is a sensitive soul and a true romantic, lost his father at a young age and believes his purpose in life is to become a father one day.
Brendan once moved to Los Angeles for his career but eventually returned to Massachusetts and took on a job in the family business in order to be closer to his family, including his beloved nieces and nephews.
When Tayshia told Brendan she'd like to have five children, it didn't scare him at all!
