"We feel that Jean-Christophe Novelli's reputation, personality and expertise will prove incredibly enticing to our passionate core audience," said Bravo Media executive Frances Berwick.

Novelli -- a Michelin and 5AA Rosette award-winning chef -- currently operates restaurants in London, France and South Africa.

He also runs Britain's Novelli Academy Cookery School, and in the new Bravo series, Novelli will attempt to bring the success he's enjoyed across the Atlantic to the States via his new business venture.  In addition, the series will also chronicle Novelli's students as they are tested and measured based on what they've learned.

While he's yet to appear on a reality series stateside, Novelli has made appearances on several reality shows in the U.K. -- including The Games, Hell's Kitchen, The X-Factor: Battle of the Stars, Family Fortunes and You're Fired!.

Novelli's currently untitled Bravo series is being produced by Mentorn USA -- the same production company that produces Work Out, the Jackie Warner-fronted series that represented the network's first attempt to replicate Blow Out's format.  Greg Johnston, Hannah Wyatt and Dan Barraclough will serve as the show's executive producers.
