Bravo has announced Date My Ex: Jo & Slade, a new reality dating series starring former The Real Housewives of Orange County "housewife" Jo De La Rosa as she looks for love in Los Angeles with the aid of her ex-fiance Slade Smiley, will premiere Monday, July 21 at 10PM ET/PT.

Each episode of Date My Ex: Jo & Slade will follow De La Rosa as she embarks on a series of dates that have been arranged by her friends Myia Ingoldsby and Katy Metz.  Unfortunately for any interested bachelors, Smiley -- the 26-year-old's former live-in fiance -- has also relocated to Los Angeles and is still serving as her manager.

"No one knows Jo better than me, which means that no one probably has more influence over her," said Smiley.

Following the bachelors' dates with De La Rosa, Smiley will ask the suitors various questions and voice his opinions on which ones he feels are the most suitable for his ex and there for the right reasons.

"It's weird having your ex help you out dating, and quite frankly I'm a little scared. For the guys," said De La Rosa.

However De La Rosa is ultimately the one who will determine one suitor from each episode to pass through the next round.  Date My Ex: Jo & Slade will conclude with De La Rosa selecting one of the bachelors for an opportunity at real-world romance, sans Smiley.

In addition to her attempts to find love in Tinseltown, Date My Ex: Jo & Slade will also document De La Rosa's attempts to pursue her fledging career as a singer.

Prior to Date My Ex: Jo & Slade's premiere broadcast, Bravo will air Jo and Slade: The Break Up on Monday, June 30 at 10PM ET/PT.  The special will recap De La Rosa and Smiley's history with one another and update fans on where they currently stand with one another.

De La Rosa's The Real Housewives departure was revealed as part of the show's third-season premiere announcement last fall.  She was replaced by Tamra Barney, a 39-year-old wife and mother of four who is trying to launch her career as a real-estate agent.

Evolution Film & Tape Inc. -- the same production company that has produced The Real Housewives' last two seasons -- will produce Date My Ex: Jo & Slade, with Douglas Ross, Gregory Stewart and Kathleen French serving as executive producers.

Bravo had ordered a then-untitled pilot of Date My Ex: Jo & Slade last November before ordering eight episodes of the series in April.
