In each episode, Stanger sets-up two wealthy millionaires -- usually men -- on dates with potentially compatible suitors -- usually women -- who are selected based on both their intelligence and beauty, while also giving the clients help via personal shoppers, date coaches and therapists.

The Millionaire Matchmaker's fifth-season clients will range from a former NFL football player to Million Dollar Listings star Madison Hildebrand and include guest appearances and "expert advice" from Stanger's friends Jenny McCarthy and Tori & Dean star Tori Spelling according to the network.

In addition, the new season will follow Stanger's own attempts to move forward with her life and find love again following her August 2010 split from former longtime boyfriend and fiance Andy Friedman, whom she had got engaged to in May 2009.

Stanger staffers Destin Pfaff and Rachel Federoff will also return for the new season.

The Millionaire Matchmaker's fourth edition averaged 1.9 million total viewers over the course of the season.

The fifth season of The Millionaire Matchmaker is being produced by Intuitive Entertainment and LLC with Mechelle Collins, Kevin Dill, Robert Lee, Kathryn Vaughn and Stanger serving as executive producers.
