The 28-year-old model admitted in the October issue of Elle that she hopes "Rob & Chyna," her E! series with fiance Rob Kardashian, will help change the public's often-negative perception of who she is.

"I wanted to show people my personality, that I'm not just a pretty face or what some people paint me out to be: this bad person, this stripper ho," she said. "I want them to see me as a mom, a businesswoman, a growing being."

Blac Chyna, who is mom to 3-year-old son King with ex-fiance Tyga, is pregnant and expecting her first child with Kardashian.

The model has made constant headlines since she was first linked to the 29-year-old reality star in January.

"We'll bring people into our world, and then they will start rooting for us, and when you have people rooting you on... it always makes things better," she said of "Rob & Chyna."

"Rob is going through his depression, but I feel like if he has the support from fans and people from the outside, it will help," the star added. "It helps to have people around to give you that confidence."

Much of the buzz surrounding Blac Chyna and Kardashian is based on the model's rise from stripper to in-demand celebrity and her past tensions with the Kardashian family.

She had shared similar hopes for "Rob & Chyna" in the September issue of Paper magazine.

"I'm excited about fans getting to know me as a person and not as a thing or face," the star said. "I'm funny and smart, and they'll see me as a mom with several businesses just keeping everything together."

"I'm looking forward to showing my relationship with Rob, our day to day, our struggles and what we're dealing with, positive and negative," she added. "I hope when people think about Blac Chyna, they think of a mogul and entrepreneur."

Blac Chyna worked at the famed strip club King of Diamonds in Miami, Fla., before turning her focus to club appearances and her own cosmetics line.

"Rob & Chyna" will premiere Sept. 11 on E!.
