CBS has announced the twist, dubbed "BB Takeover," will feature weekly surprise guests who will unleash surprises that may change the game each and every week when Big Brother's Season 17 premieres June 24 and June 25.

A guest will make an appearance on the show each week, explaining a new twist that will shake up the game. Houseguests must truly "expect the unexpected," because the house will be flipped upside down on a weekly basis.

For Big Brother's two-night debut, a different guest will stop by each night to reveal twists that could affect the players and home viewers.

"This is going to be the biggest Big Brother ever! Surprise guests, twists every week all summer long and, of course, Zingbot!" executive producer Rich Meehan said in a statement.

"But the houseguests better keep their focus, because Big Brother is all about relationships. Trust me, with all the twists and turns, those bonds will be more important than ever, because at the end of the week, it's your housemates that send you packing on eviction night."

Next season, the houseguests will be living in "a modern steel beach" pad, according to the network. The house, which is the franchise's largest yet, boasts a "Sky Bridge" that adds 155 square feet of living space and a clear view through plexi-glass panels into the first floor. There will also be a Wave Wall that's 22 feet tall in the living room.

The downstairs of the house will resemble the sea, while upstairs is all about the sky. CBS has also revealed the Head of Household suite is essentially a skybox with transparent floors and clouds everywhere. The beach theme continues in all the bedrooms.

Following the first two broadcasts of Big Brother, another episode will air on Sunday, June 28, at 8PM ET/PT. The season's first live eviction show will air on Thursday night, July 2, at 9PM ET/PT. The Thursday episodes will continue to air in that same timeslot going forward.

Big Brother will continue to feature Julie Chen as host and follow a group of strangers living together in a house outfitted with more than 80 HD cameras and 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, the houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining houseguest will receive half a million dollars.
