CBS has announced the eighteenth season of Big Brother will premiere Wednesday, June 22 at 8PM ET/PT.

After the new edition debuts, CBS will air a Thursday broadcast on June 23 from 9-10PM ET/PT and then a Sunday episode on June 26 from 8-9PM ET/PT.

Big Brother, once again hosted by Julie Chen, will air three broadcasts per week. Every Wednesday episode following Season 18's premiere -- with the next being on June 29 -- will also air from 8-9PM ET/PT.

Big Brother follows a group of strangers living together in a house outfitted with more than 53 cameras and 97 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, the houseguests will vote to evict someone from the house until only one person remains. The winner will claim the $500,000 grand prize.

Steve Moses was crowned Big Brother's Season 17 champion last summer. The series ranked among the Top 10 summer series in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54 ratings demographics.

Big Brother is produced by Fly on the Wall Entertainment in association with Endemol U.S.A. and executive produced by Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan.
