Big Brother houseguest Kaycee Clark won the Power of Veto and decided to keep nominations the same during Wednesday night's Season 20 broadcast on CBS.

After Kaycee won the PoV competition, this week's Head of Household, Tyler Crispen, did not have to name a replacement nominee. Haleigh Broucher and Scottie Salton will therefore remain on the chopping block going into Thursday night's live eviction.

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 73 with Scottie and Haleigh on the chopping block. Scottie's ouster is what the house wants, according to Tyler, but Haleigh was the only one in the house with "the balls" to have nominated himself for eviction.

Tyler assured Scottie that he was just a pawn, but Scottie had no intention of sitting back and relaxing. He also was going to try his hardest to win the veto.

Haleigh pointed out to Scottie it was clear Kaycee, Tyler, Angela Rummans and Brett Robinson were a strong alliance of four and Sam Bledsoe would probably be the next person to go after the two of them.

Haleigh knew she needed to win the veto so she could have her own game in her own hands.

JC Mounduix then bragged in a confessional how he had been controlling who goes up on the block every single week, like a puppetmaster. Tyler felt JC was playing a good game and trying to use his tricks on him, so he realized he must be careful.

Following a hilarious scene in which Sam straightened Tyler's long hair, footage was shown of Tyler and Angela getting close and snuggling as other houseguests constantly interrupted them.

Things were heating up between Tyler and Angela in their relationship, but the couple insisted to the house they were not in a showmance so they wouldn't become targets.

Players were then picked for the Power of Veto competition. In addition to the HoH and two nominees, Kaycee was picked to play as well as Sam -- who was Scottie's "Houseguest's Choice" -- and JC.

"I'm going to compete, give it everything I have, and win this veto so I can secure my own safety," Haleigh noted in a confessional.

Afterward, Angela mentioned how Sam was "going batsh-t crazy." She was complaining about a broken toilet, a messy house, and being irritable due to the fact she's quitting smoking. JC agreed that Sam was "an emotional roller coaster" who was annoying everyone.

Haleigh then apologized to Kaycee, saying she wished she could go back and do things differently. Haleigh severed her tie, game-wise, from Faysal and blamed some unpopular moves on him in order to better his position in the house.

Kaycee liked Haleigh and promised that she was good. Kaycee wanted to build some good rapport in case Haleigh won Head of Household the following week.

Kaycee added there was only one person standing in Level 6's way of getting to the end, and that was Scottie because he's a smart guy and strong competitor.

The emoji-themed Power of Veto competition then commenced, and each participating houseguest was required to walk back and forth on a seesaw, transporting emoji balls from a "wire basket" to a "message bubble."

If a player or any of the emojis fell off the seesaw at any time, he or she must start again. The first houseguest to land all of the emojis in the message bubble and hit a buzzer on the other side would win the veto and be safe from this week's vote.

Haleigh dropped off the seesaw towards the end of the competition, allowing other houseguests to take a huge lead. Kaycee then won the veto for the second time in a row.

"I am so freakin' excited! This is all mine baby," Kaycee gushed to the cameras.

Both Haleigh and Scottie had been told they are pawns, but neither of them were ready to roll over and die. Haleigh even noted she'd do "whatever it takes to stay."

After the competition, Haleigh promised Tyler that she wasn't going after him and they should work together because she doesn't have "a person" in the game. Tyler agreed to her face that it was a good idea, but he had no intention of helping her out in this game.

Haleigh vented in a confessional about how Tyler was a professional when it came to "beating around the bush." He never gave her any solid information or real answers.

Scottie and Haleigh then engaged in a conversation and Scottie revealed Tyler had told him that he's the pawn. Haleigh wasn't surprised if she really was the target, and then she cried to Kaycee about her fate in the game.

"Hey. Do you trust me?" Kaycee asked Haleigh. "You're not leaving... You are good."

It then became time for the Veto Meeting, during which Kaycee made her announcement that she had decided against using it.

Tyler wanted to see Haleigh go next, but the rest of Level 6 was onboard with taking out Scottie. Regardless, both Scottie and Haleigh had plans to up their social game, build stronger bonds and stay calm and collected.
