Big Brother's Head of Household Becky Burgess nominated two houseguests for eviction during Sunday night's broadcast on CBS.

Vanessa then got all upset about the idea. John just thought she was a good, smart player who would take out everyone in her alliance before risking her own safety. John also said in a confessional that Vanessa was an overly-emotional loose cannon.
Fast forward to present time, and Becky was officially declared the new HoH. She also won $5,000 and the ability to never be "a have not" again. She said she was going to surprise everyone with her target because he or she was "a big fish."
Shelli wasn't sure which way Becky was going to sway because she had basically been playing both sides of the house in the middle. Becky revealed to cameras, however, she trusted Jackie Ibarra, Meg Maley and James Huling more than anyone else.
Meanwhile, Steve Moses was worried Becky was going to go after him because he was sure she viewed him as a threat. The twins were also nervous about Becky's plans considering Liz Nolan had once put her up on the chopping block.
But John was smooth sailing with Becky in power. They had a little flirtatious relationship in the house and he knew she'd keep him safe. John told his other close ally Steve that he was going to try to convince Becky to go after Vanessa. Steve didn't like the fact John was torn between two allies who were at odds.
Fortunately for John, Becky's plan already was to nominate Shelli and Steve with the intention of backdooring Vanessa. She was going to tell everyone in the house that Shelli was her target. If the backdoor plan didn't work, Shelli would be the one going home. Jackie was totally onboard, saying she felt much safer in the house with Shelli around rather than Vanessa.
James called Vanessa "a snake in the grass," and his alliance agreed Vanessa was so paranoid and stressed all the time because she had so much blood on her hands and played a huge role in many houseguests' evictions. James, Becky, Meg and Jackie all promised one another they wouldn't say Vanessa's name as to keep her totally in the dark.
Shelli cried to Becky, wanting to know where she stood, and Becky assured her that she wasn't the target. Becky revealed she was going after Vanessa as a way to establish trust with Shelli. Becky asked Shelli to act pissed off when it came time for the Nomination Ceremony.
Vanessa tried to make a deal with Becky for her safety, but Becky wasn't having it. Becky insisted she was done with alliances and deals, and Vanessa didn't have respect for Becky's gameplay. Vanessa also realized that she could possibly be going home, as Becky refusing to make a deal with her was a red flag.
Regardless of what Vanessa thought, Becky felt good about her decision. She said Vanessa was an independent in the game because she had basically betrayed everyone she was in an alliance with at one point or another.
At the Nomination Ceremony, Becky put Shelli and Steve up on the chopping block. She asked Steve to get down and dirty and really try to win the Power of Veto. Steve didn't like how Shelli outed his low-key, under-the-radar game, and so he told the cameras Becky was his next target.
