Bachelor in Paradise featured the entrances of Christian Bishop and Brandon Andreen, as well as the breakup of Carly Waddell and Evan Bass during Tuesday night's ABC broadcast.

The Bachelor in Paradise broadcast began with the girls knowing they'd be in power this week to hand out roses to the guys.

Daniel Maguire told Nick Viall to confront Josh Murray about stealing Amanda Stanton away, but Nick didn't bother. Nick complained that Amanda was acting as if they had never dated, and he was surprised by how they both chose to approach announcing their relationship to everyone.

Nick felt Amanda and Josh were rubbing their romance in his face by kissing in public as much as possible. Nick noted that Josh was just trying to "irritate" him.

Meanwhile, Daniel gushed about how he had given Sarah Herron his rose because they had the best connection and he was definitely interested in pursuing her. Daniel acknowledged it takes a special and unique woman to understand him, and that person was Sarah.

Christian from JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette then arrived in Paradise. The girls agreed he was really good looking, and Christian immediately thought Amanda was extremely attractive.

Josh told Christian, however, that he had a great connection brewing with Amanda so he probably wouldn't get far with her on a date. Nick was annoyed how Josh "had dibs" on Amanda already, calling him "obnoxious."

Daniel warned Christian he was "into Sarah," who thought Christian was hot.

Christian and Sarah then talked a little bit and she told him that Daniel was cool but they were just hanging out. Christian therefore asked her on a date because he had heard "awesome things" about her. Sarah wanted to get to know him better as well.

As for Carly's relationship, she called her "hot habanero" kiss with Evan "a nightmare."

Carly said she woke up the morning after her date with clarity, and although she liked him, she didn't want to lead him on. Carly said Evan had "no swag" and the erectile dysfunction specialist wasn't concentrating enough on "the lady boner."

"Finally someone likes me and I just don't like them back. I feel really bad about it, but I have to break things off with Evan and it's going to be really bad. It's going to suck," Carly told the cameras.

Carly then pulled Evan aside for a private chat on the beach.

"I just want to be your friend and am not romantically interested in dating you," Carly told Evan, adding that she just didn't feel chemistry with him but felt heartbroken to have to dump him.

Evan said it hurt a lot and was hard to hear because he really liked her. His relationship with Carly meant a lot to him, and he still had feelings for her. However, Evan noted he deserved to find love, maybe with another woman in Paradise.

For their date, Christian and Sarah went ziplining and then rappelling down a rock. The tasks were challenging for Sarah since she only has one arm, but Christian thought she was an amazing woman who exuded sexy confidence. He also thought she was a "sexy and hot" woman in general.

The couple had a blast together and sealed the deal with a kiss at the bottom of the rocks.

Brandon from Desiree Hartsock's season of The Bachelorette then arrived at the home base with a Date Card. No one remembered him or knew who he was, but Carly was immediately drawn to him and thought he was hot. She also realized Brandon was on the same season as her brother Zak Waddell.

Carly didn't think Brandon would ask Haley Ferguson on a date because she was "very boring." After Brandon chatted with both girls -- and Carly assumed things could work out with him because he was good looking and sweet -- he asked Haley out on a date.

Carly vented that she was doing "a very bad job in Paradise," even worse than last time. She wondered if she was supposed to be single forever.

Meanwhile, Sarah gushed about how Christian was a "pleasant surprise." She called him a wonderful guy and really liked him. If Sarah gave him a rose, she said it "could very easily turn into a relationship."

Once the pair returned home, Dan was very jealous because Christian and Sarah appeared to hit it off.

"The eagle is going in for the kill tonight," Daniel told the cameras.

As for Nick, he was making himself sick from watching Amanda and Josh make out all day.

"I don't know how I'm going to get a rose, especially now that Josh has a steady diet of Amanda's tongue," Nick said in a confessional. "It's probably best that I move on from that."

That night, Daniel pulled Sarah aside and took charge. He planned a cute date with her on a daybed on the beach complete with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Daniel wanted to prove to Sarah he could be serious and didn't just have a goofy side.

Without a doubt, Sarah never stopped laughing with Daniel, and she was always entertained. Daniel said he wanted to make her happy, and both individuals appreciated how they felt comfortable in their own skin around each other since they are both a little bit different.

Daniel was peeling back layers for Sarah, and she felt giddy. She actually liked how weird and odd he was. Sarah admitted to the Canadian she thought several times on her date with Christian how it would've been "so much more fun" with Daniel.

Sarah questioned whether to give her rose to Christian, a guy "who is a match made in heaven," or to Daniel, a guy that's "peculiar who peaks her interest." She was really torn between them.

Brandon and Haley then went on their date. They were getting along fine, but Haley wanted to put Brandon to the test by switching places with her twin sister Emily Ferguson. Haley said if Brandon was really paying attention and listening to her, he would be able to tell the difference.

However, Brandon didn't notice and he awkwardly attempted to kiss Emily, who wasn't his date to begin with.

Emily kissed him on the cheek and Brandon began wondering whether she was even interested in him. Brandon thought Haley was "genuinely wonderful" and bragged about how he could easily tell the twins apart.

"It's a really, really beautiful thing that we have going on right now," Brandon told the cameras.

Meanwhile, Evan was jealous of Amanda's romance with Josh because they just kissed all day long. Evan had been scared to talk to Amanda at first because her beauty was intimidating, and he definitely regretted it.

Evan acknowledged pushing Amanda into the friend zone and wanting to make his move on her. He therefore decided to take a chance and write up his own Date Card in order to lure Amanda to a treehouse, where he'd set up a little date for her.

Evan became confident all of a sudden and said in a confessional that Josh was "trying to be the good guy while hiding his inner bad guy." Evan noted that Amanda was going to feel his heart and he was ready to take a risk for love.

"Damnit, why the hell not? True love is something worth taking a risk for," Evan told the cameras.

The episode concluded with Evan interrupting Amanda's makeout session with Josh on the beach.
