"It was a good run, you know?! It was a good run," Parisa told host Wells Adams during the September 4 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.
"It was a good run," Brian repeated with a laugh.
Brian elaborated, "It was a great experience that I wouldn't take back. I think life just kind of got in the way for me, running my restaurant. And distance is tough. But we're still good, close friends."
"And, yeah!" Parisa added.
There was clearly an awkward vibe as Parisa and Brian spoke, and so Wells changed the subject.
But Wells revisited the conversation at the end of the podcast episode, and Parisa insisted that she and Brian had "tried" to make it work after Paradise.
"It just came down to, really, I feel like having different schedules. I think also, too, I wanted something different in a relationship compared to what Brian wanted," Parisa explained.
"Nothing wrong with that. I feel a lot of this comes down to compatibility. That's okay."
Parisa continued, "And yeah. I mean, we tried, and it just got to a point where it was like, 'Okay, I think we just need to wave our white flag and move on.'"
Parisa, however, said she is currently "seeing someone" new.

"It was, I don't know. The whole process, everything was just so hard," Parisa admitted when looking back on her time in Paradise.

Parisa reiterated how it was just a "hard and confusing" experience.
"I guess I just reached a point where, I mean, anybody, when you just keep trying and trying, you hit that wall and you're like, 'Okay, well, I mean, I can keep trying and keep wasting time or I should just move on,'" Parisa shared, seemingly suggesting that the breakup was Brian's fault.
"I'm not getting any younger," she added, "and neither is he."
When asked if he wishes he had done anything differently in his relationship with Parisa, Brian admitted, "I think in the VIP suite, maybe I could've answered what my favorite color was -- or just made one up! I could've done that."
Brian acknowledged how he lost his cool after spending "a long day in feathers" due to the "Birds of Paradise" competition.

"But what I will say is it was a long day for all of us. We were all hot and all hungry and all in feathers. And yeah, it was just a moment. It was tough because that was a huge thing, to win the VIP suite."
Brian acknowledged, "I had a moment but I deaded it."
After Brian laughed, Parisa went on to say, "I just wish we could've adapted to the situation and put a smile on for the last 10 minutes [of filming that night]. Then we'd get what we worked hard for and could enjoy it. A moment of adapting would've been really nice."
Parisa, however, gave Brian grace and pointed out how this was "a new experience" for everyone.

"It was a mistake or whatever, but I never want that to be held against someone and they are labeled as that forever," Parisa said.
"All that matters is that we look back and recognize things and we use that to grow. Next time, if any situation like this ever happens, it's like, 'Okay, like, I'm going to exhale, adapt to it, and just move on.'"
Brian added, "And just tell them your favorite color."
"Yeah," Parisa concluded.
Also during the podcast, Brian confirmed he had "no other intentions" with Bailey Taylor Brown for their Secret Rendezvous other than telling her about Jeremy Simon's secret phone call with Susie Evans.
Andrew Spencer recently claimed on "The Viall Files" podcast that the cast didn't really appreciate how Brian had treated Parisa on the show.
Andrew repeated on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" reunion that he didn't like, for example, how Brian occasionally spoke to Parisa.
