While Alexe and Andrew decided not to get engaged on Bachelor in Paradise's Season 10 finale this past summer, they left Costa Rica still dating.

Alexe and Andrew admitted they had quite a few fights after leaving Paradise, but they are apparently in a very healthy place right now.

"Long distance is going pretty well, honestly. I enjoy it a little bit more than I expected," Alexe told co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt during a recent appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.

Alexe is currently living in Chicago, IL, while Andrew -- who has "more flexibility" in his job -- spends a lot of time in Los Angeles, CA.

"I thought when I first got off the show, I was like, 'We have to move in together by January!'" Alexe admitted.

"And then honestly, I've kind of liked being away for a little bit and getting together. I feel like it keeps the excitement and it's fun. But yeah, it's going pretty well."

Andrew -- who joined Alexe on the podcast episode -- agreed with Alexe and added, "I love a little bit of space at the same time."

But the couple acknowledged they're "always on FaceTime," even if they're not saying anything to each other.

"That's usually the way we end our nights," Andrew noted, before adding, "We never really feel like we haven't seen each other."

Alexe pointed out how 10 days is pretty much the longest amount of time she and Andrew have ever been apart. Any longer than that, Alexe admitted she's start to "have withdrawals."

Joe asked the couple if they've thought about doing part-time Los Angeles and part-time Chicago, meaning they'd get a place in both cities.

"Well, the thing is, she wants to leave L.A. and go to New York, which is amazing because I'd rather be in New York," Andrew shared.

"She wants to do New York and I am so onboard for that! I dislike the flight to L.A. because it is so far and it's a time-change thing. New York, I literally get on a flight for an hour-and-a-half, maybe even less sometimes."

Andrew also called New York "a second home" for him, adding, "I love being in New York. There's so many things there and obviously I have good friends there... L.A. is just too much."

Andrew therefore said he and Alexe plan to "get a place together in New York."

The former NFL player explained, "But I'll also keep my place in Chicago. So we'll split New York together and I will just be back and forth between there and Chicago, which is really nice, because my family is all here in Chicago."

Alexe shared how she'd "like to experience New York" while she can, before she settles down.

Prior to falling in love with Alexe on Bachelor in Paradise's tenth season, Andrew competed on Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette and also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise's eighth season.
