Bachelor in Paradise alum JJ Lane isn't shy about the fact his appearance on the reality dating show, as well as Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette, has allowed him to easily score with women.

"You know what's insane, I get laid off perception," Lane, who was portrayed as a villain-turned-nice guy in the franchise, told the New York Post. "People think what they see on TV [is the real you]."

Lane apparently has better luck with women than his friends in the NFL do -- including some stars of the Denver Broncos.

"I'll go out with my buddies who are successful. Knowshon Moreno is one, Owen Daniels, Brandon McManus, Super Bowl champions, and people are like, 'JJ! Oh my gosh, can I take a picture?' Like, sure, you can take a picture, but this guy won the Super Bowl," Lane revealed.

While Lane claims to be getting a lot of action, he hasn't been able to nail down a serious relationship with a woman he could envision marrying.

"Once you go on a TV show, it's so hard to fall in love because nobody is genuine and it's very hard to trust anyone," he explained to the Post.

But one thing is for sure: Lane believes current The Bachelor star Ben Higgins is genuine.

"[Ben] is the best Bachelor ever," he said. "I feel [he] is truly trying to find a wife and he trusts the process. If you're in that process, and you're exposed to those girls over a certain period of time, you're going to fall in love 100 percent.

The Bachelor currently airs on Monday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT on ABC.
