Before Bachelor in Paradise 2 began filming, which former bachelors or bachelorettes were some of the cast members hoping to get acquainted with?

Ashley Salter told E! News she had "no expectations" and "didn't talk to anybody" before coming on the show. Unfortunately, she didn't exactly anticipate finding love on the island, but she planned to enter the scene with an "open mind" any way.

Jade Roper "didn't do any research" on the guys prior to taping, so she "didn't have anybody particularly in mind." As a result, Roper's "strategy" was to assess the men for who they are and just feel them out to see if there's chemistry.

Salter and Roper declined to offer up any real wish list, but Ashley Iaconetti came through.

Iaconetti admitted she met Andi Dorfman's ex-fiance Josh Murray a few months back, and while she didn't really feel him at the time, she was open to giving it one more shot. Iaconetti was therefore hoping to see Murray in Mexico.

Iaconetti said "all the girls" wanted to see Ben Higgins, and she "thought about" Chris "Cupcake" Strandburg as an option. And her list didn't stop there. Iaconetti noted "definitely [Jared Haibon]" as well as Brooks Forester from Desiree Hartsock's season of The Bachelorette, according to E! News.

Tenley Molzahn confessed she's been "off the market for so long" because she had dated Kiptyn Locke for a while. Guys still didn't come to mind when she realized she'd be re-entering The Bachelor family's dating pool, however, she said she was "pleasantly surprised" with who showed up to paradise.

Kirk DeWindt admitted he didn't go on the show with any "preconceived notions." But still, he was hoping to see Mohlzan and Clare Crawley.

On the topic of Crawley, that's whom Mikey Tenerelli was thrilled to meet. Tenerelli called Crawley one of his "number ones."

The second season of Bachelor in Paradise airs Sunday and Monday nights at 8PM ET/PT on ABC. An after show will air following each Monday night episode.
