The Bachelorette alum Andi Dorfman has admitted she's far from thrilled about the show having dual leads, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, for Season 19.

Andi, who starred on Season 10 of The Bachelorette back in 2014, opened up about ABC's decision to cast two leading ladies for The Bachelorette's new season premiering July 11 -- and she rolled her eyes at the thought.

"I want to be supportive because it's a franchise that literally put me here right now... but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bummed that it's two women," Andi told Entertainment Tonight.

"I'd like to see two men go at it, but I don't know. It gives me a little sexist vibe there that I don't really love."

Andi said, however, she "probably will" watch the show "out of support for the girls."

"Because I know all these Bachelorette leads and what it takes to be onscreen and to hold your own on a show, and production, and castmates," Andi shared.

"I have a lot of respect for those people, so I think I will show my support in that way. But yeah, I don't really love the fact that two women have to share the screen. I think we've progressed a little further. It's 2022."

Andi said she hopes Gabby and Rachel, who both previously competed for Clayton Echard's heart on The Bachelor's 26th season and got dumped simultaneously, will not have to compete for the same men on The Bachelorette.

"I just don't know why they didn't start with the guys as the guinea pig," Andi said.

"I want each girl to have it for themselves. It is such an incredible thing. And it's not to say it can't be shared, but again, I don't know. There's something [weird about it]."

Andi said she'd like to see two guys star on The Bachelor next year or in the near future "to keep it fair."

"Why not?!" the former district attorney said with a laugh.

Andi was attending the launch party for The Bachelorette alum JoJo Fletcher's Cupshe swimsuit line, and The Bachelor alum Becca Tilley -- who recently came out, publicly, with her girlfriend Hayley Kiyoko -- told ET that she's "all for" having two Bachelorettes as long as they're "not pitted against each other."

"I hope that they both find their love story," Becca said.

"I hope that both of them... end up having a beautiful wedding somewhere, hopefully it's not a double wedding. Hopefully they don't have to do everything together, but I'm really excited for both of them."

Meanwhile, JoJo shared how she's "actually very excited" about seeing two Bachelorettes on Season 19.

"One of the most incredible things that [Becca and I] got to do as friends together was to go through that experience. So to not have to date the same guy and go through that experience and to have that together, I think is going to be so much fun for them," JoJo explained.

"I also just think the banter you have with your best friend makes for incredible TV, so I'm actually very excited about this."

Season 11 The Bachelorette star, Kaitlyn Bristowe, however, admitted she felt "triggered" by ABC's choice to have two female stars of the show in one season.

Kaitlyn had to face off against Britt Nilsson for The Bachelorette role on Season 11 in 2016 after both women competed to win Chris Soules' heart on The Bachelor 19.

"I was like, 'Oh my gosh, can't a woman have her own season?'" Kaitlyn lamented to E! News.

"It feels like it was [Clare Crawley] and then she was gone. And then it had to be [Tayshia Adams]. And then it was [Katie Thurston] and then, back-to-back, [Michelle Young]. And now it's the two Bachelorettes again."

Gabby and Rachel will have 32 men to choose from on The Bachelorette, but ABC has yet to formally announce how the format is going to work.

The Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer said when unveiling the cast of men on TikTok, "What I can promise you and what I can tell you is that it's a journey unlike anything we've ever seen before."

"This is a totally different... setup and environment that both Rachel and Gabby will have to navigate -- dating these men and having to lean on each other. They are going to rely on their friendship to assist each other along the way."

Jesse added, "They encounter circumstances and situations that no Bachelorette has ever had to encounter in the past, and as such, Gabby and Rachel will be making decisions that no Bachelorette has ever had to make in the past."

Gabby said on Good Morning America in March that she and Rachel had no idea how the season was going to work.

"We just got thrown in. But I have faith and a lot of trust and I love Rachel to death and I know we're gonna have each other's backs the whole way, so there's really not a doubt in my mind that it's gonna end up well," Gabby said at the time.

Given Gabby and Rachel had a heartbreaking journey competing against each other on The Bachelor earlier this year, many fans have also voiced their dismay over the idea the women may be at odds and dating the same guys.

But The Bachelor creator and executive producer Mike Fleiss assured fans in April via Twitter, "No drama...Just two friends helping each other find true love!"
