Fox says it has renewed its singing competition series American Idol for a 14th season.

Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr., currently occupy the judges' panel at the show's studio in Los Angeles. It is unclear at this point how many of them will return for the next edition.
Ryan Seacrest has served as the show's emcee for most of its run and is expected to return for Season 14.
Auditions for competitors are scheduled to kick off June 18 in Minneapolis.
