American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban advanced or cut more fourteenth-season hopefuls with the ongoing Group Round during Wednesday night's broadcast on Fox.

If a singer or entire group advanced from the Group Round, they'd move on to solo performances with the band and sit-down personal talks with the judges. From there, 48 contestants will be chosen to take the stage at House of Blues for the "Idol Showcase" airing Wednesday, February 18 and Thursday, February 19 from 8-9PM ET/PT.

Four groups were shown advancing in their entirety.

One group was comprised of Riley Bria, a 17-year-old student from Springhill, TN; Keri Lynn Roche, a 25-year-old waitress from Detroit, MI; and Emily Brooke, a 15-year-old student from West Palm Beach, FL.

The second group was made up of Cody Fry, a 24-year-old musician from Northfield, IL; Rayvon Owen, a 23-year-old singer and vocal coach from Richmond, VA; and Piper Jones, a 24-year-old substitute teacher from Nashville, TN.

The third successful group was Joey Cook, a 23-year-old server from Woodbridge, VA; Shannon Berthiaume, a 17-year-old student from St. Paul, MN; and Naomi Tatsuoka, a 24-year-old musician from Portland, OR.

The fourth group to advance altogether was comprised of Trevor Douglas, a 16-year-old student from Fort Worth, TX; Qaasim Middleton, an 18-year-old student from Brooklyn, NY; Daniel Seavey, a 15-year-old student from Portland, OR; and Savion Wright, a 22-year-old student from Jasper, TX.

Sal Valentinetti, a 19-year-old entertainer from Bethpage, NY, was cut from his group -- which also included Alexis Danielle Granville, a 17-year-old student from Zachary, LA, and Jax, an 18-year-old musician from East Brunswick, NJ, who advanced.

Tiffany stringer, a 17-year-old student from Southlake, TX, was eliminated from her group.

Adanna Duru, an 18-year-old student from Diamond Bar, CA, and Cindy Maslov, a 24-year-old spa hostess from Granite Bay, CA, both advanced. Their teammates Denise Natoli, a 19-year-old student from Sayville, NY, and Camille Peruto, a 20-year-old musician from Stratford, NJ, were cut.

Three individuals were shown advancing from their separate groups: Alexis Gomez, a 22-year-old Spanish tutor from Dayton, OH; Loren Lott, a 22-year-old actress from San Diego, CA; and Quentin Alexander, a 20-year-old retail associate from New Orleans, LA.

One person was shown getting eliminated from his group and that person was Garrett Miles, a 22-year-old musician and performer from Phenix City, AL.

"Hollywood" Anderson, a 22-year-old busker from New York, NY, made it to the next round from his group. His teammates Laurel Taylor Taunton, a 20-year-old singer and songwriter from Nashville, TN, and Amber Kelechi, a 16-year-old student from Memphis, TN, were ousted from the competition.

Kory Wheeler, a 26-year-old barista from Nashville, TN, was shown being cut from a group which also included Lovey James, a 16-year-old student from Portland, OR, and Jess Lamb, a 29-year-old singer from Cincinnati, OH, who made it through to the Solo Round.

Tanya Mackenna, a 23-year-old voice teacher from Carlsbad, CA, advanced while her group member Rocky Peter, a 27-year-old street musician from Dunbar, CA, was sent home.

Heatherle Spires, a 23-year-old chiropractor's assistant from Emory, TX, was the only person eliminated out of her entire group. The following girls made it through: Erika David, a 25-year-old hotel representative from Fremont, CA; Sarina-Joi Crowe, a 19-year-old musician from Columbia, TN; and Adrianna Simon, a 24-year-old hotel coordinator from Las Vegas, NV.

Vanessa Andrea, a 25-year-old stay-at-home mom from Minot, ND, was the only person cut from her group as well. The following people advanced from her group: Mark Andrew, a 29-year-old landscape forearm from Eden Prairie, MN; Katherine Winston, an 18-year-old musician from Lenox, MA; and Alex Shier, a 19-year-old musician from Port Huron, MI.

Jackie Nese, a 17-year-old student from Springfield, NJ, was ousted from her group, while teammate Maddie Walker, a 16-year-old student from Ankeny, IA, advanced to the solo performances.
