The three acts who received the most home viewer votes and will compete in the semifinals are Birmingham Youth Choir, acrobatic duo TT Boys, and magician Zak Mirz.
Those three acts will join dance group Team Recycled, who had received America's Got Talent judge How Mandel's Golden Buzzer during Tuesday night's performance show.
"I was looking for an act that could possibly win this whole thing and nobody has been able to step it up," Howie explained on Tuesday night. "I thought to myself, 'Can they do it?' And the answer is yes!"
The Golden Buzzer allows Team Recycled to skip the semifinals completely and advance straight to the finals.
On Tuesday night's performance show, the fourth group of 11 quarterfinalist acts had taken the stage for Simon, Howie and their fellow America's Got Talent judges Melanie "Mel B" Brown and Sofia Vergara.
In addition to Team Recycled, the 10 other acts who had performed on Tuesday night were Birmingham Youth Choir, TT Boys, Zak Mirz, vocal group The BoykinZ, singer and guitarist Chuck Adams, singer and cellist Cole Swensen & Judy, vocal duo Crash Adams, laser act Gendai, bodybuilder Mike Munz, and dance group The Funkateer Dancers.
Based on the voting results, the Top 5 acts were Birmingham Youth Choir, Chuck Adams, The Funkateer Dancers, TT Boys, and Zak Mirz.
On Wednesday night's AGT results show, Terry announced the highest votegetters and the eliminations in groups of two acts at a time.
Once the night came to an end, seven acts were eliminated from the competition.
Those eliminated acts were The BoykinZ, Chuck Adams, Crash Adams, Cole Swensen & Judy, Gendai, The Funkateer Dancers, and Mike Munz.
America's Got Talent will kick off the semifinals next week.
