America's Got Talent revealed the first group of seven twelfth-season semifinalist acts following Tuesday night's episode in which 12 quarterfinalist acts performed for home viewer votes.

In The Stairwell, a male a cappella group; Darci Lynne, a 12-year-old singing ventriloquist; Angelica Hale, a nine-year-old powerhouse singer; Preacher Lawson, a 26-year-old comedian; and Benny England and Emily England, a brother and sister roller skating duo, were revealed to have finished as the Top 5 votegetters following Tuesday night's performance show, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's Season 12 semifinals.

The four lowest votegetters, who were immediately sent packing were Artyon and Paige, a child dance duo; The Singing Trump, a 56-year-old Donald Trump impersonator; Puddles Pity Party, a 53-year-old sad singing clown; and Bello Nock, a 47-year-old comedic daredevil.

The three remaining acts -- Christian Guardino, a 17-year-old singer; Just Jerk, a young-adult dance act infused with martial arts; and Yoli Mayor, a 21-year-old singer -- finished in sixth, seventh or eighth place, and were therefore at the mercy of America's live vote and the judges.

The "Dunkin' Save" which allows home viewers a 30-minute window to vote for their favorite act, eventually saved Christian from elimination.

America's Got Talent judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, and Simon Cowell then had to determine whether they'd like Just Jerk or Yoli to move forward in the competition.

Before the judging panel cast their votes one by one, Simon announced that America got the entire night "100 percent right," in his own opinion, and he was "thrilled" with the results.

Heidi revealed that her heart belonged to Yoli, so she voted for the passionate singer to advance. Mel then said she was going with her gut, choosing to advance Just Jerk because she's never seen a dance act like them.

Simon noted both acts could potentially be amazing but they weren't their best during the performance show. With that being said, Simon voted to see Yoli go the semifinals. Howie then opted to advance Just Jerk, saying the group is the epitome of a dance crew and by far the best he's ever seen.

Due to the tiebreaker, America's Got Talent host Tyra Banks announced which act had received more votes from Tuesday night's performance show, and that person was Yoli. Just Jerk was eliminated from AGT as a result.

America's Got Talent will return Tuesday, August 22 with another set of 12 quarterfinalists competing for one of seven spot in the Season 12 semifinals.

Those acts will be Johnny Manuel, Light Balance, Demian Aditya, Merrick Hanna, Celine Tam, Pompeyo Family, Evie Clair, Brobots & Mandroidz, The Masqueraders, Eric Jones, Mirror Image and Mandy Harvey.
