Alix recently teased during a get-ready-with-me video that her routine with Val takes everything out of her.
"For [our] dance, we finally have it down from start to finish," Alix, a social media influencer, told her TikTok followers in a video.
"I can't do the whole dance from start to finish without, like, heaving."
Alix joked about having to get into better shape if she's going to survive Dancing with the Stars this fall.
"I seriously think I need to, like, start going on runs or something," Alix quipped.
"We do 15 seconds and I'm like, 'I have to sit on the floor and take a break.' But I think now having our dance completed is just making it, for some reason, feel a lot more real to me."
Alix added, "I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, like, this is what I'm doing out there on television for millions of people to see.'"
In separate social media clips, Alix noted how Val's "patience is very appreciated" and he "has such a fun, funny personality."
Alix's Dancing with the Stars participation was first announced during a May episode of Good Morning America.
Alix gushed at the time about how she's a big fan of the show and even attended Dancing with the Stars' milestone 500th episode.

Alix said she was "so excited" to be on the show, adding, "I have been watching it every week religiously. And I heard that going to the show live is really fun."
Alix also felt somewhat prepared for the challenge since she grew up dancing and performing.
"So I just love a good performance," Alix noted. "But a lot of people didn't know that about me. I was dancing competitively until my junior, senior year of high school."
After Alix, son of the legendary "Crocodile Hunter" Robert Irwin was announced as a celebrity contestant as well The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck.
Reports then swirled Hilaria Baldwin, the wife of actor Alec Baldwin and host of TLC's The Baldwins, will be competing on Dancing with the Stars.
Hilaria's casting was confirmed on September 3, when Dancing with the Stars unveiled its 14 celebrity and professional pairings for Season 34 on Good Morning America.
The cast includes actor Zac Efron's little brother and The Traitors Season 3 winner Dylan Efron; reality TV star and actor Corey Feldman; and two vocal group members, Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying and Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui, who had been discovered on reality singing competition shows.
Dancing with the Stars will be celebrating its milestone 20th season this year.
