Each episode of Wanna Bet will follow four celebrity contestants as they bet on the success or failure of various stunts, tricks and challenges concocted by average Americans.  The celebrities who are the most successful with their wagering will earn money that will then be donated to the charity of his or her choice.

Wanna Bet will be hosted by British comedians Ant and Dec -- who currently helm Britain's Got Talent.  Celebrity participants already slated to participate are Dancing with the Stars second-season champ Drew Lachey; The View co-host Sherri Shepherd; comedian Bill Engvall; and former Skating with Celebrities host Scott Hamilton.

ABC ordered Wanna Bet -- an American adaptation of a German quiz game show -- last year, and it's executive produced by Philip Gurin and Mark Jansen.

In addition to Wanna Bet's debut, ABC has also announced premiere dates for seven other reality shows the network will air this summer.
