"I am dealing with a lupus flare-up and pyelonephritis," the 90 Day Fiance star told E! News.

"I also have a large cyst on my left ovary the surgeons are coming down to evaluate if they need to remove or not. They have started an IV of Levaquin and have me in morphine and Zofran."

Pyelonephritis is inflammation of the kidney, while Levaquin is an antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body and Zofran is administered to prevent nausea.

In Touch Weekly reported Ashley would be released 24 hours from the time she was admitted.

The reality TV star was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Pennsylvania, not far from where she lives in Mechanicsburg.

Sources told In Touch that doctors expected to send home Ashley on Thursday once she was feeling better so she could continue to relax and recover on her own at home.

Earlier this week, Ashley had also clarified that despite reports she was going to rehab to treat her depression, she had actually signed up to attend a women's wellness retreat this week before leaving for a week-long cruise with her mother and children this upcoming weekend.

After the cruise, Ashley said she is also scheduled to enjoy a free vacation to Jamaica for several days.

Whether those travel plans will be impacted by her hospitalization is unclear.

This wasn't the first time Ashley has been hospitalized for lupus.

Ashley was hospitalized in February 2019 for nearly a week to undergo surgery after she experienced kidney failure in January.

During Ashley's stay in the hospital in January, Jay was apparently by her side most of the time although the former couple was facing serious issues in their marriage.

Ashley had also been hospitalized twice in December and had to spend Christmas away from home due to similar complications.

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes the immune system to attack its own tissue, resulting in pain and flare-ups triggered by infections, stress and more.

Ashley's life has recently been very stressful considering she's dealing with the aftermath of her divorce from Jay.

Ashley filed for divorce from Jay for the second time in April and cited "adultery" on Jay's part as the reason for their split.
