90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days featured Sheena confessing her lies, Rick and Birkan keeping major secrets from their partners, Anna demanding romance from Jovon, and Rick "getting thrown into the lion's den" during the Season 8 episode that aired Sunday night on TLC.

The eight Americans include Elise, a bold and outspoken woman who looked for love on 90 Day: Hunt for Love earlier this year. Elise is apparently hoping to settle down with a man named Joshua from Australia.
In addition to Elise, a 32-year-old from Florida, and Joshua, a 39-year-old from Australia, the show is also going to star Jovon, a 38-year-old from Alabama, and Annalyn, a 38-year-old from the Philippines, as well as Aviva, a 26-year-old from Arizona, and Stig, a 30-year-old from Belize.
The rest of the couples are Laura, a 47-year-old from Washington, and Birkan, a 26-year-old from Turkey; Emma, a 28-year-old from California, and Ziad, a 27-year-old from Morocco; Forrest, a 32-year-old from Oregon, and Sheena, a 40-year-old from the Philippines; Rick, a 52-year-old from California, and Trisha, a 25-year-old from Madagascar; and Lisa, a 51-year-old from Pennsylvania, and Daniel, a 39-year-old from Nigeria.
"These couples are stepping into the unknown, driven by love but challenged by distance, doubt, and deep cultural divides," TLC teased.
"From conflicting expectations and family pressure to hidden pasts and even surveillance-level possessiveness, the stakes have never been higher for these unconventional love stories."
In most 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days cases, a pair of lovebirds are hoping to get engaged and begin the K-1 Visa process.
Below is what happened on Episode 8 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' eighth season.
FORREST and SHEENA
Forrest was left feeling "confused and bothered" after meeting Sheena's lovely parents."First off, I believed that the entire time, I was coming here to save Sheena from horrific, evil monsters, and it turns out her family has this nice, beautiful home and they're just normal, caring people," Forrest explained to the cameras.
Forrest had confronted Sheena about her previous claims, but she dodged his questions and told him to just be grateful he received her parents' blessing for them to marry.
RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' COUPLES NOWForrest predicted that his mother was going to see his future in-laws' home and flip out. Forrest figured his mother Molly would ask why Sheena's parents needed her son's money in the first place and then accuse Sheena of being a liar.
"I still need to tell Sheena's parents that we're cutting them off, and hopefully my mom and [stepdad] can back me up and we can get past this big hurdle," Forrest said in a confessional.
Alarm bells immediately went off in Molly's head once she saw the beautiful gardens and bed-and-breakfast property in the Philippines. Molly said Sheena had claimed that her parents were going to starve if she didn't help them financially.
"They're living better than Forrest and I back in the United States! This isn't adding up at all," Molly told the cameras, adding how she planned to tell Sheena's parents everything their daughter had told her.
Molly then met Sheena's welcoming and hospitable family, who put out a beautiful spread for dinner. Molly simply couldn't picture these people as money-grubbing mean people.

Molly thanked Sheena's parents for the meal and complimented their beautiful home.
Molly admitted she had expected to see a very different property based on what Sheena had told her.

"There's been quite a bit of confusion, and I had heard that you guys had been taking all of Sheena's earnings. And she told us that if she didn't give the money to you guys, that you would threaten her and be cruel to her and mistreat her -- that you forced her," Molly revealed to the table.
"Did you say that?" Sheena's dad asked his daughter.
Sheena started to cry at the dinner because her parents denied ever treating Sheena that way.
"I would never mistreat any of my children," Sheena's dad said.
Molly asked Sheena why she felt the need to lie all the time, and Molly admitted she had lied to Forrest so she wouldn't lose him. Sheena said she couldn't save enough money for her visa while helping her parents out.
"The hysterical theatrics aren't helping at all to clear this up," Molly told the cameras.
Sheena apologized for lying to Forrest about her family, who also confirmed that Sheena's mother was just a loan for them and they intended on paying her back.
Forrest told Sheena that her lies were ruining their relationship, but Sheena didn't want her man to give up on her.
Forrest said he was glad everything was out in the open now so that he and Sheena could just move forward.
Sheena promised that she'd never lie again, but Molly didn't trust her future daughter-in-law at all.
LISA and DANIEL
Daniel was preparing Lisa to meet his uncle so that they could receive his blessing to marry.Daniel taught Lisa some of the local traditions and customs so that she'd know what to do upon meeting his uncle, and Lisa -- who even had to dress the part -- was scared that she wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Daniel admitted he was nervous as well because Lisa enjoyed vaping and had committed "big sins" in her past. Little did Daniel know, however, that Lisa was keeping more secrets from him.
Daniel didn't know that Lisa was still technically married to a woman and had dated women for almost two decades.
When the pair met Daniel's uncle, Lisa waited too long to kneel down, and so the uncle asked, "Don't you know our culture?"
Lisa gave Daniel's uncle a bottle of wine, and then Lisa shared how she takes care of her household and gave Daniel money when he needed it. She shared how she had been adopted as a baby and was trying to be a better Christian.
Lisa said she occasionally drank alcohol but had given up smoking.
"Are you a lesbian? Do you practice lesbianism?" Daniel's uncle asked Lisa.
"I have been with a woman before. Yes, sir," Lisa said, adding how it will never happen again.
Lisa couldn't believe Daniel had revealed her past to his family, and she was clearly upset. She also promised Daniel's uncle that she wasn't lying, which made her feel guilty because she had, in fact, lied.
Lisa had been with women for 21 years and was still married to a woman. Lisa said it's who she is and she's not ashamed of it -- but she knew Daniel's family would never accept her that way.
However, Daniel's uncle ended up giving the couple his blessing to wed.
Lisa wondered if Daniel's family would end up accepting her for who she is, but she didn't know how she was going to tell him the truth.

JOVON and ANNALYN
Jovon and Annalyn, or "Anna" as he called her, were on their honeymoon after three years of being married.Jovon and Anna were getting used to being around each other and sleeping next to each other, and they also had their first in-person fight.
Jovon had told Anna not to call his sister and vent about the issues in their marriage, and Anna complained that Jovon always found ways to criticize her.
"Why can't I reach out to his sister? She's my family too, so why can't I confide in her when he can confide in any b-tch?!" Anna lamented in a confessional.

Jovon told Anna that he just wanted to enjoy their trip, and so he apologized and the couple hugged.
But Anna said their issues were deeper than Jovon being critical because she didn't really trust him.
The pair then went to the beach and rented an aqua bike, and Anna told Jovon that he needed to keep his promise by not talking to a woman -- whom he once had feelings for -- again.
Anna therefore asked Jovon if she could look through his phone, especially because he had been listening to a masculinity podcast that allegedly made cheating sound okay as long as he could provide.
Jovon obliged and allowed Anna to scroll through his phone, and after a couple of minutes, she said, "Wow!"
Anna apparently didn't find anything except a lot of photos of her and his dog in his phone. Anna realized in that moment maybe she could let her guard down a bit more.
"I passed all of your tests," Jovon noted.

The next step in Jovon and Anna's relationship was to renew their wedding vows in front of her family.
While having dinner, Anna complained about how Jovon was never romantic. She reminded him about how he had forgotten their second anniversary, but Jovon explained how he worked a lot and was busy.
Anna said she wanted to see more vulnerability from Jovon and she wasn't sure if he'd ever understand her and her needs.
Jovon seemed to think as long as he worked and provided for his wife, that was enough.
Anna then broke down into tears during the dinner, and she said, "I do not want you to give me anything anymore."
LAURA and BIRKAN
Laura admitted she was very unsure about her future with Birkan because he had been keeping secrets from her and also told her that she could no longer be friends with her best friend, Michael, back home.Laura said this was a whole new controlling side of Birkan and it was very concerning to her.
Laura asked Birkan if he'd be open to meeting or calling Michael, and Birkan replied, "You are pushing my will."
Laura called Birkan out for being a hypocrite because it seemed like he was trying to make decisions about whom they could or could not be friends with.
"The last couple of days proved there is a lot more I need to learn about Birkan," Laura noted.
Birkan then introduced Laura to a couple of his friends, Tugba and Memo, who had known Birkan for about three years.

Memo then revealed there was an "unknown side" to Birkan.
"What?" Laura asked.
"Bro, does she know how often you gamble?" Memo asked Birkan in Turkish.
Birkan told the cameras that when he wasn't working or couldn't find a job, he gambled every single day. Birkan said that's what he did for a living.
Birkan claimed that he was waiting for the right time to tell Laura that since she was already worried about his debt and finances.
Birkan and his friends were speaking in Turkish in front of Laura, who had no idea what they were talking about. The secret conversation led Laura to believe that Birkan was hiding another big secret.
RICK and TRISHA
Rick and Trisha were shown taking a boat to see lemurs in Madagascar, and then Trisha asked Rick if he'd like to have a child together in the future.Rick said he wasn't really interested in expanding his family since he's in his fifties, but he told Trisha that he wasn't totally closing the door on that possibility.
"But I can't put a timeframe on that [decision]," Rick told Trisha.
Trisha said she really needed to know how Rick felt because it's very important in her culture to have kids.
"If he decides he doesn't want to have kids anymore, I'm not sure I will be able to stay with him," Trisha explained in a confessional.

That night, the couple enjoyed a meal by cooking fish in a bonfire on the beach, and Trisha acknowledged there were still some things about her that Rick didn't know about.
Rick was looking forward to meeting Trisha's family, but Trisha had never told her dad how old Rick was and that he'd been married before and has children.
"Otherwise, I think my father would refuse to meet him, but a blessing from my dad means a lot to me," Trisha told the cameras.
Trisha said if things didn't go well, she'd probably have to choose between her husband and her family.
"I'm getting thrown into the lion's den. They really want Trisha to have a baby... and I don't know if I'm ready to make that decision," Rick shared in a confessional.
Rick planned to show Trisha's parents that he's a good person and a loving father, and he promised Trisha to do the best he could to make her happy.
"I feel even worse about now telling Trisha about me spending time with my ex in Colombia... I don't know how she's going to take it," Rick said in a confessional.
