The four new couples starring on Season 8 of 90 Day Fiance are Brandon, a 27-year-old from Dinwiddie, VA, and Julia, a 26-year-old from Russia; Jovi, a 29-year-old from New Orleans, LA, and Yara, a 25-year-old from Ukraine; Stephanie, a 52-year-old from Grand Rapids, MI, and Ryan, a 27-year-old from Belize; and Andrew, a 32-year-old from Roseville, CA, and Amira, a 28-year-old from France.

90 Day Fiance features Americans who have fallen in love with foreigners bringing their fiances to the United States on K-1 visas.

However, once the couple is in America together, the American must marry their overseas partner within the 90-day period allowed by the visa or the foreigner has to return to their home country.

Below is the latest on several of 90 Day Fiance's eighth-season couples based on the eighth episode.

STEPHANIE AND RYAN

In October 2020, Stephanie said the borders had finally opened up and so she'd be able to visit her 27-year-old boyfriend Ryan in Belize. However, Stephanie said the pair hadn't been getting along at all, with jealousy and trust issues.

Stephanie and Ryan had gone 10 months without seeing each other, however, and so she was excited to see him. Stephanie figured the distance between them had been causing most of their problems.

When packing up her suitcase, Stephanie included about 12 watches -- including a $3,000 snake watch -- for Ryan as well as a shirt with skulls on it. She also decided to take the ring her father had given her mother when they were married.

Stephanie always wanted to wear that specific ring if she were to get married.

"Although Ryan and I are engaged, he hasn't officially proposed yet, so the ideal thing for me is for him to propose with my mother's ring. I have a feeling this might be the time he proposes, on this trip. We shall see!" Stephanie gushed.

Stephanie said goodbye to her beloved cat and planned to be away for about two weeks.

"I love Ryan with all my heart, and I hate the level that we're fighting now because our love will never survive if we can't restore the trust in our relationship," Stephanie explained.

"This will be the trip where we decide, 'Do we move forward or do we end it?' I'm excited but I'm also incredibly nervous. These last 10 months have been the worst of our relationship... I hope we can work out the kinks."

When Stephanie arrived in Belize, she ran up to Ryan and he greeted her with flowers and a balloon. They embraced and kissed multiple times, and Ryan told Stephanie that she looked sexy. As for Stephanie, she appeared overjoyed.

Ryan said he was 23 years old when he met Stephanie and she was either 47 or 48 at the time. Ryan said Stephanie's return to Belize was his "dream come true," and he drove Stephanie to her hotel, which he called "paradise."

Once Stephanie returned to Ryan's arms, she felt like maybe they could make things work and love might actually conquer all. All of Stephanie's anger and resentment appeared to disappear in the moment.

Stephanie then gifted Ryan sandals, shirts, underwear, shorts, sunglasses and more. Stephanie had spent thousands of dollars on his gifts, but she said she loved buying Ryan gifts because he was always so appreciate and didn't have many belongings.

Stephanie also gave Ryan glow-in-the-dark condoms, with the pair revealing they had once slept together four times a night for about six days straight. Ryan said although Stephanie was older, she could definitely "keep up."

Stephanie explained they needed to make a decision about Ryan's K-1 visa, and Ryan said he wanted to make amends with Stephanie and show her the best two weeks of her life. Ryan told Stephanie that making her happy would be his No. 1 priority.

Once in the hotel, Stephanie suddenly asked Ryan to see his phone so she could make sure that he wasn't texting other women, and she discovered a woman named Kayla SC in his phone -- but it turned out to be his cousin.

Ryan told Stephanie that he'd remove the password from his phone so she could check it whenever she wanted in order to make her feel secure and comfortable. Ryan insisted he wanted to get their relationship back on a good path.

"Some days, Stephanie drives me really crazy and you know, like, f-ck, I would probably just want to give up on all this, but I'm hoping she's willing to work with me. Right here, right now, let's make a new beginning, a new chapter, fresh," Ryan Sh.red.

"Because I'm actually way too deep in it already and I actually really want to get to America. I want to see what America looks like, you know?"

Stephanie and Ryan then enjoyed a romantic dinner out together, and Ryan said his goal was to earn Stephanie's trust back.

Stephanie asked Ryan if he figured she would ask to see his phone upon her arrival, and he replied, "No." Ryan said his phone wasn't on his mind and he was more concerned with Stephanie arriving in Belize safely.

Stephanie said their relationship had been "sh-t" ever since coronavirus started, and Ryan agreed. But Ryan insisted he'd get to the United States eventually and Stephanie should stick with him no matter what.

Ryan asked Stephanie not to worry about things that were out of their hands.

Stephanie then gave Ryan the ring to propose marriage with if he decided that he was ready to do that and continue with the K-1 visa process. Ryan set out to prove to Stephanie that he was a changed man and wanted what was best for them as a couple.

Stephanie, however, hadn't been honest about sleeping with Ryan's cousin Harris, and so she was feeling a little guilty. Stephanie wasn't sure when the right time would be to drop that bomb.

MIKE AND NATALIE

With 66 days to go on Natalie's K-1 visa, things were a bit calmer in Mike's household. The pair had a blowup the day prior, and Mike said he and Natalie really needed to work on things if they were going to end up together and be happy.

But Natalie felt frustrated because she said Mike didn't understand what she was going through.

"I think if I'm more flexible with Mike and be more soft with him in woman ways, he would be more pleased and he wouldn't be that hard on me," Natalie told the cameras.

Natalie admitted she overreacted when she had called Mike "a low class drunk" and more, and she insisted that she was happy to be with him. Natalie, however, asked Mike to try to understand her as well because she had left everything behind her.

Mike promised Natalie that he wasn't there to hurt her and asked his girlfriend to have patience going forward.

"Sometimes I'm angry with him and sometimes I want to run away, but I don't want to live with anger for 90 days. I realize I have two choices: either I am married or I am right. I prefer to be married," Natalie said with a laugh.

Once Mike and Natalie were in a better situation, Mike's mother Trish was going to visit for a weekend and he hoped Natalie and his mother would love each other and get along great.

Trish was well aware Mike and Natalie had fought and she had given her engagement ring back, and Natalie admitted she was a little upset about Mike having shared private details with his mom about their relationship.

Mike told the cameras his mother is "a tough broad" and no joke because she had grown up on a farm, riding horses and whatnot. He called her "hardheaded" and explained to Natalie that means practical, realistic and not very sentimental.

Natalie said she wouldn't get along with Trish if she's not sentimental, but Mike pointed out that Natalie tended to be hardheaded sometimes too.

Natalie just hoped Trish from Oklahoma -- whom Mike said he saw about once a year -- would like her and the visit would be a positive one.

Once Trish arrived, Trish said she didn't have "a super impression" of Natalie but she intended to work on that and hopefully change their dynamic.

Trish told Natalie that Mike is a happy and jovial person, and Natalie could tell where Mike had gotten his sense of humor from when Trish joked she had birthed an elephant.

Trish asked when the couple was going to give her grandchildren, and Natalie told the cameras she wanted to have babies but wasn't sure whether Mike was even ready to marry her.

Natalie told Trish that Mike always kept her guessing and was paying her back for returning her engagement ring, and Trish could tell the couple had major differences and may not be able to work everything out.

"I think they really need to explore what they might be getting into," Trish noted.

The trio later went to dinner together and Trish admitted she was struggling to have a full-on conversation with Natalie due to the language barrier.

Natalie told Mike not to eat butter at dinner, but Trish argued that butter is good for one's mind and helps with memory. Natalie said she wanted Mike to be healthy and had challenged him not to eat meat.

Trish said eating meat or not would be Mike's decision, and Trish was shocked to hear Natalie had yet to unpack her suitcases because the couple had been fighting.

"We don't have a wedding date and Michael didn't give me the ring back. I feel unsure and insecure, I don't know," Natalie explained to Trish, adding that she was upset about Mike not giving the engagement ring back.

Natalie confessed to Trish she had made a mistake by giving the ring back, and Mike was glad to hear Natalie accept blame and take some responsibility for their relationship falling apart. Mike said it felt nice to hear that Natalie regretted her actions.

Trish pushed Mike and Natalie to set a wedding date so Natalie's mother could attend the wedding and plan her trip, and Mike thought it was a good idea and said he'd work on things with Natalie.

"I feel like I found the magic button to Mike's heart -- Trish. Because if I'm good with Trish, everything works for me in the best way," Natalie shared with a laugh.

Natalie thanked Trish for her guidance and support, but Trish still wasn't convinced Mike and Natalie's relationship was going to work out in the long run. Trish thought the pair had too many differences and didn't like how her son had already been hurt from all of this.

The next day, Natalie and Mike settled on April 3 because she thought that represented the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Her last wedding was on the 22nd of the month, and so Natalie wanted to avoid any bad luck.

Mike knew there was a lot more to do than just pick a date, and Trish didn't think 90 days was enough time to figure out their relationship and truly go through with a wedding.

Natalie determined it was okay not to get married in the church because Mike had never been baptized. Natalie said she was fine with a simple wedding, and Trish suggested the pair could get married in the yard surrounded by flowers.

Natalie appeared overjoyed to share her wedding date with her mother over the phone, and she kissed and hugged Mike with excitement.

Natalie then broke down into tears because she missed her mother terribly.

BRANDON AND JULIA

Julia was shown doing farm chores and feeding the animals, and she complained the life was boring and she was always dirty and smelled bad. Julia said she "hated" farm life and felt like she was stuck in a bad movie that was on repeat.

Julia told the cameras that she missed her family, especially her father Igor, whom she decided to FaceTime.

Julia complained about being dirty like a pig and lamented about how she wanted to move out of Brandon's parents' home.

"If I stay here, I will lose my mind soon, sitting around all day cleaning poop," Julia told her dad.

Julia said Brandon wasn't taking care of her because he wasn't trying hard enough to fix the situation. She wanted her man to stand up for her and move them somewhere else.

Igor agreed that Brandon needed to "man up," put his foot down and make his own decisions, and Julia admitted she wasn't sure whether the wedding was going to happen.

"If he doesn't change, I think I will go home," Julia noted, adding that she was tired of hearing Brandon saying they'd move "soon" without really acting on his promise.

Julia said she was prepared to leave Brandon if he didn't step up to the plate and make their living situation better.

Julia then FaceTimed Brandon and said she no longer wanted to live on the farm and hated it as well as all of her chores.

"I hate this place," Julia complained. "Brandon, I don't want to stay here. I want to leave now... You hear me?!"

Brandon asked Julia to stop ranting and raving and asked if they could talk about it once he returned home from work. However, Julia pushed to have a conversation immediately, and so Brandon obliged.

Julia said if they didn't move, she would return to Russia.

"You don't care about this. You not fix problem and I not feel you love me. And I don't love you too if you don't love me. I hate you now, Brandon. I hate you," Julia complained.

Brandon asked what was wrong with taking care of a few cute animals, and Julia repeated how she hated her fiance.

Brandon told the cameras that Julia had no idea how lucky they were to be living in a place for free while he was saving money for their future together. Brandon felt like his effort was in vain due to Julia's reaction.

Brandon insisted to Julia that he was trying and their situation was just temporary. Julia argued, "I try for you!" But Brandon said the work wasn't as hard as Julia was making it out to be.

Julia told Brandon they needed to leave his parents' house or else she was going to leave.

"You choose," Julia said.

Brandon said he loved Julia and it hurt him to hear she'd be willing to leave, but Julia said she had given Brandon her life and so he needed to do the same for her.

"It's hard to hear, but I'm going to fix this for us. I'm going to talk to my parents and tell them we're leaving because I don't want to lose you. I'm going to be the man that you want me to be," Brandon said.

Julia was so excited to start a new future with Brandon, but Brandon was worried about disappointing and upsetting his parents.

Regardless, Brandon was clearly ready to choose Julia over anything or anyone else.

JOVI AND YARA

Yara had been feeling really sick for several days, so with 53 days left to wed, Yara decided to buy an at-home pregnancy test at the store.

After Yara's miscarriage, doctors had told her it would be "so hard" for her to get pregnant again, so the Ukraine native apparently had a hard time thinking she could be expecting a baby.

Yara was scared about potentially being pregnant, saying she wasn't necessarily ready to take care of a baby and all of the responsibilities that come with that given she was in a foreign country with no job or family or friends around.

Yara also acknowledged she and Jovi had things to work out.

"I honestly don't even know if he wants to settle down with me and [stop] partying all the time," Yara explained. "It just makes me feel crazy. I don't think it's the time for me to get pregnant. It's not time yet."

Yara then took the test behind a closed bathroom door, and fans were able to wait with Yara for her results.

Yara then FaceTimed her friend Lera and revealed her test result was positive.

"I don't want to be pregnant. I wasn't planning to be pregnant," Yara lamented.

Lera suggested maybe the test was wrong, but Yara had a good feeling the test was probably right. Yara didn't know what to do, and the idea of being pregnant had yet to settle in Yara's mind.

Yara didn't want to sit home alone while Jovi went off to work for weeks at a time. Yara said that wasn't her plan "for sure."

Yara planned to wait to share the news with Jovi so he could hear about it in-person after his work trip. He was due to come back in a couple of days.

Yara admitted she was not ready to have kids but it was time to tell Jovi that she was pregnant.

Later on, Yara and Jovi reunited after a month apart. Yara was excited about seeing her man again, but Jovi was drinking whiskey at around 8AM, and Yara was angry and displeased.

Yara accused Jovi of being a different man than the guy she had started dating.

"He don't want to grow up and stop partying, and I need to tell him about the pregnancy. But now I don't even know if I do want to marry him or if I don't," Yara shared.

ANDREW AND AMIRA

In June 2020, Amira was still reeling from spending three days in the immigration detention center in Mexico City. Amira was finally on her way home, but she only had 39 days left on her K-1 visa.

Amira and Andrew's plan had gone totally awry, with Andrew at the Mexican resort by himself and Amira back home in France.

"That trip to Mexico was the worst nightmare ever of my entire life, but I'm relieved to be safe in France and I am desperate to see my father again," Amira shared.

Amira's father Hamdi picked his daughter up at the airport, and Amira said she felt guilty because her father had suffered because of her since he was unable to reach her while she was detained.

Over a nice lunch, Amira revealed she had been detained within 30 minutes after her flight landed in Mexico and they took her phone and passport away. Amira's watch had also been taken away, and Amira said it was just like being in prison.

RELATED LINK: 'MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT' COUPLES NOW: WHO IS STILL TOGETHER? WHO BROKE UP? WHERE ARE THEY NOW? (PHOTOS)

Amira said the Mexican authorities detained her for allegedly having "no passport," but Amira insisted they were lying because they had placed her passport in the same envelope as the paperwork.

Hamdi told Amira that she never should have went to Mexico to begin with, and Amira explained that she wanted to prove her love to Andrew and that she'd be willing to take risks for him.

Hamdi determined Andrew wasn't the right guy for Amira, who also wished Andrew had looked for her while she was detained. Amira told Hamdi maybe he would change his mind upon meeting Andrew, but Hamdi said Andrew was "not a man" and seemed "very selfish."

Amira didn't want her father to disapprove of her partner, and so she said she'd have to find a way to fix that.

"I have a very bad feeling about Andrew, and I don't think this relationship is good for her," Hamdi told the cameras.

Once he learned Amira was safe, Andrew decided to have a little fun and focus on his self-care. Andrew therefore went to the beach and received a massage. He decided to just enjoy his vacation since he had already taken the time off from work.

Andrew then FaceTimed with Amira, who said she had taken four planes in five days and was exhausted. Andrew said his trip felt "empty" without Amira but he had a lot of excursions planned.

Since Andrew was vacationing, Amira felt there was no room for her to open up about what had happened to her. Andrew said if the borders didn't open up and Amira's K-1 visa expired, they might have to try this all over again in a different country.

Amira, however, said she had been through so much already and didn't want to go through that struggle again. Andrew's expectations of Amira made her "speechless" considering she finally just returned home and was healing from her bad experience.

"It's like he doesn't really see what I'm going through. I love Andrew, and I know right now he is pushing me hard to go to the U.S., but I am hesitating," Amira said.

"Now that I have talked to my dad and heard he has negative things to say about Andrew, I feel torn. The more Andrew is pushing me, the more I am questioning, 'Does he really want the best for me?'"
