MTV has announced it's ordered The Show With Vinny, a new talk show/reality show hybrid series that will star Guadagnino as he talks with celebrities in his own family's home in Staten Island, NY -- a different format than the typical in-studio location utilized for most talk shows.

"Vinny's unique mix of humor, intelligence, curiosity and heart make him the perfect choice for this genre-busting take on the interview [TV show] format," MTV executive Chris Linn said in a statement.

"As the lives of the Jersey Shore cast evolve, we are excited to explore new ground while still delivering the laughs and surprises that fans have come to expect from the franchise."

The Show With Vinny will combine the Jersey Shore star's life at home with "off-the-cuff and unscripted interviews with stars invited over" his house to talk while enjoying a nice meal, according to the network. The series will also feature some of Guadagnino's family members -- including his mother Paula and uncle Nino.

If viewers can't wait to get more of Guadagnino, they can catch him on Restore the Shore, a fundraising special in which Jersey Shore's cast members will help to rebuild Seaside Heights and persuade people to donate money to victims following Hurricane Sandy's disastrous effects. The one-hour broadcast is scheduled to air on Thursday at 11PM ET/PT on MTV.

DelVecchio's Jersey Shore spinoff The Pauly D Project debuted in March and was followed by Polizzi and Farley's Snooki & JWoww reality show, which premiered in June. The second season of Snooki & JWoww is set to debut on January 8 of next year.

The Show With Vinny is being executive produced by SallyAnn Salsano for 495 Productions, Jacquelyn French for MTV, and Kara Welker and Jared Hoffman for Generate Management.
