Vicki Gunvalson files for divorce from her husband Donn Gunvalson

Vicki Gunvalson will apparently soon have something new in common with fellow The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney: newly-divorced status.

Gunvalson has filed for divorce from her husband Donn Gunvalson, People reported Tuesday.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star reportedly filed to end the couple's 16-year marriage in Orange County Superior Court on Monday.

Gunvalson's marital woes have been chronicled on The Real Housewives of Orange County for several years.

In 2008, the show's fourth season included a storyline in which Gunvalson -- who has two adult children from her first marriage but none with Donn -- said her "love tank is depleted" and stated she was unsure whether her husband could "fill it up."

The couple later renewed their vows in a June 2009 ceremony that was featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County's fifth season, however Gunvalson had suggested the couple was having problems again during March's broadcast of the season's reunion show.

Barney's husband Simon Barney filed for divorce in January, citing infidelity on her part.  She has repeatedly denied the allegation.
