VH1 to debut 'Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew' on November 1, reveals cast

VH1 has announced Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, a Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew-like spinoff that will feature stars addicted to sex instead of drugs and alcohol, will premiere Sunday, November 1 at 10PM ET/PT.

Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew will follow Celebrity Rehab star David Drew "Dr. Drew" Pinsky and a team of sexual addiction experts as they attempt to help eight participants -- who will live together for 21 days and meet daily in one-on-one and group therapy sessions in order to get to the root of their compulsive behavior.

VH1 began developing Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew earlier this year and subsequently started production on it in April.

Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew will feature eight patients -- porn actress and director Jennifer Ketcham (aka "Penny Flame,") former porn star and music manager Kendra Jade Rossi, surfer and wakeboarder James “Jamie” Lovett, gay film director and producer Duncan Roy, musician and comedian Phil Varone, and former Playboy playmates Amber Smith, Nicole Narain and Kari Ann Peniche.

Smith has previously appeared on Celebrity Rehab and its Sober House spinoff, while Jade is an adult film actress who is married to Rock Star: Supernova winner Lukas Rossi. 

The eight-episode series is executive produced by John Irwin and Bruce Toms for Irwin Entertainment, with Pinsky and Howard Lapides also serving as executive producers.
