TV One announced it has ordered Omarosa's Ultimate Merger, a new reality dating series produced by The Apprentice star Donald Trump and starring reality retread Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.

Omarosa's Ultimate Merger will follow Manigault-Stallworth as she whittles down a group of 12 bachelors via a series of challenges designed to "play upon their weaknesses, test their business acumen, measure their seductive strengths, and draw out their true intentions," according to TV One.

Bachelors will be booted in each episode until only one is left and wins her heart.

"Omarosa was a great personality on The Apprentice that was watched by over 40 million people as it became the #1 show on TV," said Trump. "Omarosa is smart, witty, and difficult, but all of these qualities will make for some very interesting entertainment."

The eight-episode series -- which is currently slated to premiere next spring -- will film on location at Trump International Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas.

Omarosa's Ultimate Merger was created by The Donald and Trump Productions president Andy Litinsky, and it is being produced in association with Juma Entertainment.

TV One -- a Comcast cable network that launched in 2004 -- currently serves more than 48.4 million households and features programming geared towards African American and urban viewers.

"I am very excited to partner with the great Comcast Corporation and TV One," said Trump. "They really stepped up to the plate to do this deal. TV One is making a huge impression on the cable landscape with this tremendous new show."

News of the project had first surfaced in September when casting calls for "eligible bachelors who think they have what it takes to win the heart of TV personality Omarosa and gain the approval of Donald Trump" appeared online.

"The challenge was coming up with not just your typical dating show," Juma executive Robert Horowitz, who will serve as an executive producer, told Daily Variety in a Monday report.

"This is the biggest show TV One has done in the relationship space. The challenge was creating a primetime-style relationship series on a cable budget."

In addition to his role as an executive producer, Trump will appear on camera for the series as he offers advice to Manigault-Stallworth, Variety reported.

Manigault-Stallworth's reality credentials include The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice, The Surreal Life, Fear Factor and Battle of the Network Reality Stars. This August, she entered the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH to pursue a doctor of ministry degree.

"We do not want to bill her or portray her as a villain," Horowitz told Variety.

"That's not what this is. You will like Omarosa; you may not want her for your son or brother, but you will easily see where she has a lot of positives in her life. She's a smart woman, and she knows what she needs to do."
