Phil, a 6' 3 1/2" 24-year-old bartender from Lanesboro, MA, was eliminated from the competition after he found himself in the bottom two alongside Marvin Cortes, a 6' 1" 20-year-old sales associate from Bronx, NY.

In addition, Alex earned a spot back into the competition after receiving the highest average social media score. She participated in all the photo shoots this season in the separate competition for eliminated models and ended up beating fellow female models Jiana Davis, Bianca "Kanani" Andaluz and Chlea Ramirez.

"I wanted this so bad! Thank you!" Alex said in tears.

Phil and Marvin landed in the bottom based upon their challenge score and total combined scores from the judges and viewers for a photo shoot which required the contestants to pose horizontally in a grassy patch at Canyon Ranch while wearing long "magical" couture gowns for the cameras shooting above them.

For the challenge, all the models went on go-sees in attempt to book runway shows for Style Fashion Week and win clothes from notable designers. Everyone but Jourdan Miller and Marvin -- who didn't book any shows at all -- booked Paulie Gibson's show. XCVI booked Renee Bhagwandeen. Civil Society booked Phil, Don Walls and Chris Hernandez.

Overall, Renee won the challenge after she also impressed the designers with her runway walk and presentation.

Phil received five points from Top Model creator and judge Tyra Banks, seven points from judge Kelly Cutrone and six additional points from judge Rob Evans. He also earned eight points from the challenge and a 4.3 fan vote, making his overall score 30.30.

Marvin was deemed safe with his overall score of 31.90. He received eight points from Tyra and Kelly and six additional points from Rob. Marvin also racked in six points from the challenge and a 3.9 fan vote.

Best photo of the week went to Chris, a 6' 1 1/2" 25-year-old doorman and security guard from North Bergen, NJ, who was the person to receive the highest overall score of 43.10.

Tyra's call-out order was as follows: Chris, Nina Burns, Renee, Cory Hindorff, Jourdan, Don, and finally Marvin and Phil.

After the announcement was made that Alex would get the chance to compete again against all the models still in the running, the episode ending in a cliffhanger. Tyra revealed one guy would also be afforded the opportunity to re-enter the competition.

Next Friday night's Top Model episode will feature the return of either Phil, Jeremy Rohmer or Mike Scocozza.
