The Real Housewives of Orange County will reportedly welcome back Lydia McLaughlin next season.

According to sources, McLaughlin is returning to the Bravo reality series for Season 12, Us Weekly reported.

"She seems really excited," an insider told the magazine.

McLaughlin was a full-time cast member back in Season 8, which wrapped in September 2013, but she left the show after that.

McLaughlin had starred on The Real Housewives of Orange County with Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino. Like McLaughlin, both Bellino and Rossi exited the show after Season 8.

"It's bittersweet," McLaughlin, 35, told Us of her choice to depart the show at the time. "I compare it to breaking up with a boyfriend you know you're not going to end up with -- it's hard, but overall you know you're doing the right thing."

McLaughlin announced in November 2014 she and husband Doug welcomed a son Roman, their third child together. The reality TV star and Doug have been married for almost 11 years, as they just celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary in April 2016.

As for the rest of Season 12's cast, sources previously revealed Meghan King Edmonds won't return after appearing on the show for two seasons -- but Judge will be back.

Dubrow, the wife of Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow, confirmed just last month she's done with The Real Housewives of Orange County after five seasons.

"After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to RHOC this season. These past five years have been an incredible journey and I'm so proud to have been a part of such an iconic piece of pop culture," Dubrow told Bravo in a statement.

"I am so grateful... for all of the incredible experiences and the opportunities RHOC has afforded me and my family. However, at this point in my life, I have decided to go in another direction and do what's best for my family and career. Should I change my mind, I thank Andy Cohen, Evolution and Bravo for telling me that the door is always open."

Last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County featured Dubrow, Edmonds, Gunvalson, Judge, Shannon Beador, and Kelly Dodd.

Bravo declined comment on casting rumors.
