A group of overzealous viewers have allegedly taken their The Real Housewives of New York City obsessions too far, according to Jill Zarin.

"Someone posted my address and told people to send me threatening mail. She and others did," The Real Housewives wrote in a Sunday posting on her Twitter account. "Using the US Postal service is a serious crime."

A source close to Zarin told The New York Post in a Wednesday report that the reality star has been receiving "sympathy cards for the death of her soul" and unwanted magazine subscriptions after someone posted her home address online.

"We think these people are friends with another housewife," the source told The Post.

Zarin also addressed the "threatening mail" in a Saturday post to her Facebook account.

"We are being harassed and threatened by a family from Chicago and Alabama. We have contacted authorities. I will block anyone who is linked to them per postal service law enforcement until they finish investigation," she wrote.

"This is a serious crime and all evidence has been handed over. If you are involved in anyway... I suggest you stop. Enough is enough. It is NOT funny or a joke."
