The 27-year-old The Biggest Loser: Families champion -- who beat out fellow season finale finalists Ed Brantley and Vicky Vilcan to win the competition's live December 16 final weigh-in -- got engaged to her boyfriend Micah Whitehead nine days after her victory, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

"I was so shocked!" Aguilar told Us.

Aguilar, an assistant director from Ft. Worth, TX, has reportedly been dating Whitehead for four months.

The couple said they planned to wed in either the spring or fall in 2009. Aguilar told Us that she "absolutely" plans to use some of the $250,000 grand prize money she won from the NBC weight-loss reality show for the wedding.

Aguilar began The Biggest Loser: Families struggling to lose weight from her 242 lbs. frame and attempting to reconcile her relationship with Renee Wilson, her formerly estranged mother who was also a contestant on the show, and managed to successfully accomplish both goals.

Now at 132 lbs. and a size 4 to 6, Aguilar said that wedding dress shopping has been "absolutely liberating" and much more enjoyable than it would have been before she appeared on on The Biggest Loser.

"Before, you have that fear: 'Hey, can you pull me a size 20?'" Aguilar told Us. "What girl wants to say that?"
