The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher is complimenting Jordan Rodgers on the way he went about describing his estrangement from his pro-football playing brother Aaron Rodgers.

Jordan first opened up to Fletcher about his lack of relationship with Aaron before she gave him a rose that signified she'd be traveling to his hometown of Chico, CA, to meet his family.

Jordan explained to Fletcher his estrangement from Aaron is the result of how the NFL player has "chosen to do life," adding that they have different priorities. Jordan said he decided to put his parents and family first, suggesting that Aaron did otherwise. Because the brothers don't talk, Aaron didn't even know about Jordan's The Bachelorette participation.

But it turns out Aaron has actually been estranged from the entire family for about two years. Neither Jordan's father or older brother Luke wanted to talk much about the issue during the hometown date. Fletcher realized the wound was much deeper than she thought.

When Entertainment Tonight asked Fletcher on Saturday whether she knows about what's going on between Aaron and Jordan, she replied, "I can't say."

"That's not something that -- I wasn't there for it. It's not something that I feel like I should pry into," she said at the taping of The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All in Los Angeles.

Fletcher, however, respected the way Jordan broached the difficult topic on television.

"I will say that the stuff Jordan told me on that date, it was actually quite sweet how he handled it. And, I don't know. I really don't know," Fletcher told ET.

Theories about the brothers' estrangement continue to circulate -- including questions of whether Aaron's girlfriend Olivia Munn and her good friend Brittany Farrar, who is Jordan's ex-girlfriend, had anything to do with the falling out.
