The Bachelorette couple Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are now man and wife.

Hartsock and Siegfried, who currently live in Seattle, WA, wed in an intimate and quick 15-minute ceremony in Palos Verdes, CA, on Sunday afternoon, E! News reported.

Although it had been widely believed Hartsock, a fashion designer, was going to make her own wedding dress for the big day, she reportedly opted to wear a one-shoulder lace gown by Maggie Sottero with a sheer overlay at the neckline.

According to a source, Hartsock's dress featured a long train and veil stemming from the back of her head. Her hair was reportedly parted to the side and worn down in waves with one chunk of her hair clipped back behind the ear.

"They were so excited to get married. They didn't want to wait another day," another source told E! News. "When Chris first saw Des walking down the aisle he was amazed at how beautiful she was. The ceremony was very emotional and sweet. They kept it very short and they walked out holding hands and kissing."

The Bachelor executive producer Mike Fleiss wished the newlyweds well yesterday.

"Congrats to Desiree and Chris. What a great couple! We love you!" Fleiss tweeted.

Just shortly before becoming a married man, Siegfried expressed his excitement on Twitter.

"So excited for the big day! @DesHartsock and I can't wait to share with everyone! #countdown #9days #hopingforsun," the mortgage banker wrote

ABC reportedly initially told the pair they could exchange vows on television as long as they waited until Fall 2014 despite Hartsock's wishes to marry in Summer 2013. The network allegedly delayed the event to hopefully increase ratings, but now they've decided to not go through with it at all.

While ABC has footed the bill for other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples to wed on TV, Hartsock and Siegfried apparently just aren't viewed the same way as Catherine Giudici and Sean Lowe, for example.

"Des is just boring," a source told In Touch Weekly in November. "Plus, ratings for Sean and Catherine's wedding weren't that great."

Hartsock and Siegfried celebrated their engagement party in February 2014 and the bride-to-be's shower in early August of last year. She found love with Siegfried after failing to win Lowe's heart during The Bachelor's seventeenth edition.

Siegfried proposed to Hartsock during The Bachelorette's ninth-season finale, which was filmed in May 2013 and aired three months later. She selected the former professional baseball player over runner-up Drew Kenney after getting over the heartbreak of Brooks Forester unexpectedly dumping her.
