The Bachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and husband J.P. Rosenbaum are going to be parents.

"I'm a little nervous, but we're very excited," Hebert, who is three months along in her pregnancy, told In Touch Weekly. "I've wanted a child for a while."

"It's nice not to have to keep a secret anymore," added Rosenbaum. "We're beyond thrilled."

The couple reportedly tried to conceive for about two months prior to learning the news. Their first child is due in October.

Ironically, Hebert and Rosenbaum discovered they were expecting a baby at fellow The Bachelor couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's January 26 wedding, which aired live on ABC.

After Hebert reportedly took a few pregnancy tests which didn't reveal any results with certainty, the former The Bachelorette star tried another home-pregnancy test in Santa Barbara, CA on the day Lowe and Giudici exchanged vows.

"There was legitimately a line," Rosenbaum told the magazine. "That's when we officially found out -- of course it would be at a Bachelor wedding!"

Hebert and Rosenbaum told Life & Style in April 2013 they'd be ready to start having children once Hebert finished her dentistry residency in June 2014.

"Anytime after that June is fair game," Rosenbaum told Life & Style at the time.

"So June 1!" chimed in Hebert. "I want one [child]."

"We're having two kids. She's putting up a fight now, but she'll go for two!" Rosenbaum subsequently joked.

Hebert had previously admitted she'd like to have a baby girl, while Rosenbaum was reportedly hoping for a boy.

The pair got married in December 2012 on television after they fell in love and Rosenbaum proposed during The Bachelorette's seventh season, which aired in 2011.
