The Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe has revealed she'd like to have a super-glam, Great Gatsby-like wedding, which is "so opposite" of what she thought she wanted several years ago.

Kaitlyn revealed she and fiance Jason Tartick are planning a Summer 2022 wedding, and she dished about her vision for the event and plans in the works during a June 1 appearance on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast hosted by The Bachelorette alum Becca Kufrin.

"We have four meetings tomorrow with four different wedding planners to decide who we want to pick," Kaitlyn, 35, told Becca and the podcast's guest co-host Catherine Giudici from Sean Lowe's season of The Bachelor.

"And so then it's going to be full-on from there, because we want a short engagement."

Kaitlyn expects to have more concrete plans after she and Jason, 32, select their wedding planner.

"I don't know where we want to have it and I don't know when. I just know that basically as soon as we can get the ball rolling, I want it to be a Great Gatsby-like, black-tie event -- very glam, which is so opposite of what I thought I would want," Kaitlyn shared.

Kaitlyn was previously engaged to her The Bachelorette 11 winner Shawn Booth, but the pair never seemed to get deep into wedding planning and announced their split in November 2018 after three years of dating.

"Because four years ago, I would have been like, 'I want bohemian. I want it farm-style.' I just keep changing my mind," Kaitlyn said.

"But we basically just know that we want it to be hopefully in Summer 2022, like early summer."

Kaitlyn added how she and Jason would like the affair to be "super-chic" with a reception that includes "a band, a deejay and a piano man," who will conduct a sing-a-long during the evening.

The Season 29 Dancing with the Stars winner also revealed she wants her former DWTS partner Artem Chigvintsev to choreograph "a nice romantic waltz" for her first dance with Jason as man and wife.

"Jason can dance! He couldn't come up with choreography on his own, but if someone taught him, he's got rhythm and I feel like we could do a really, really great memorable dance for everybody," Kaitlyn said.

The lovebirds, however, apparently have to meet in the middle when it comes to one area of the wedding planning.

"Jason wants it to be big. I want it to be more intimate. So we're going to have to learn our compromising skills," Kaitlyn noted.

Kaitlyn said she's interested to see what type of bride she turns out to be because she'll "either be super chill or super psycho."

Jason proposed to Kaitlyn in Nashville, TN, one May afternoon while the pair was recording an episode of Kaitlyn's Off the Vine podcast. Kaitlyn has said she was so surprised and didn't see the proposal coming at all.

"It was so beautiful. Everything he said was perfect and I'm so glad we have it recorded because I definitely blacked out and so did he," Kaitlyn gushed on Bachelor Happy Hour.

Kaitlyn said "it's been like a nonstop celebratory time" ever since Jason popped the question.

"On Dancing with the Stars, I've never received so much champagne and I thought I would get sick of it, but that's all I want to drink now! We are enjoying all of the celebrations and all the champagne, and it has just been nonstop since the second he proposed," Kaitlyn said.

Kaitlyn continued, "We have literally just been on this frickin', I don't know, joyride or roller coaster of emotions and talking to family."

Kaitlyn first met Jason while taping an episode of her Off the Vine podcast in October 2018, and he took her out on their first date in January 2019.

Ironically, Becca had dated Jason when he competed for her heart on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season. Jason finished Becca's season in third place back in 2018.

Kaitlyn therefore playfully told Becca, "I'm sorry for your loss because he's the one that got away."

"I know, I saw your ring!" Becca joked of Kaitlyn's oval-diamond stunner.

Kaitlyn recalled, "I'll never forget when you told me -- when I said, 'Hey is it weird, like, can I date [Jason]?' And you said, 'As long as you treat him like a king because he's going to treat you like a queen.'"

Jason, originally from Buffalo, NY, moved from his place in Seattle, WA, to live with Kaitlyn in Nashville in June 2019. The couple has since adopted two dogs together.

Kaitlyn will be co-hosting The Bachelorette's upcoming seventeenth season starring Katie Thurston alongside fellow The Bachelorette alum Tayshia Adams after longtime host Chris Harrison "stepped aside" from his hosting duties to educate himself on racism in society after previously defending The Bachelor Season 25 contestant Rachael Kirkconnell's racially-ignorant and insensitive actions in her past.

Prior to starring on The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn failed to win Chris Soules' heart on The Bachelor's nineteenth season.
