The Bachelor host Chris Harrison is teasing that veteran bachelorettes may return for Nick Viall's season.

Although no decisions have been made, according to People, fans may witness the return of franchise favorites since Viall is Mr. Popular with the ladies, having appeared on three Bachelor shows -- The Bachelorette twice and Bachelor in Paradise this summer.

"I won't be shocked if somebody very familiar shows up," Harrison revealed. "We've done that in the past when someone's been on one season."

On The Bachelor's twentieth edition earlier this year starring Ben Higgins, for example, Becca Tilley and Amber James from Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor showed up late in the game to potentially win his heart. Higgins ultimately proposed to now-fiancee Lauren Bushnell.

Viall "has been on basically three [shows]. I don't see how someone won't rear their head and show up," Harrison told the magazine.

Viall's relationship with Jennifer Saviano fell short of love on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise. However, the 35-year-old software salesman became close friends with most of the women in the cast. Maybe one or two of them developed a crush no one knows about!

Due to Viall's vast experience on The Bachelor franchise and questionable reputation, ABC's decision to cast him as the leading man of Season 21 has been met with some criticism.

But Harrison insisted producers "had to make the right call at the right time. At the end of the day, they just thought Nick was the guy."

Viall beat out frontrunner Luke Pell from JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette for the role as well as Chase McNary, James Taylor and Wells Adams.
