The 34-year-old "The Bachelor" Season 9 bachelorette said "yes" to Sanders at daughter Holland's first birthday party Sunday at the Houston Zoo in Houston, Texas.

"Of course @hollandrosegentry and I said yes!! So happy to be engaged to the man of my dreams who is so kind to the baby of my dreams #engaged #fiance #bridetobe #Cherica," she captioned a photo with Sanders and Holland.

Rose told E! News that Sanders asked Holland's permission before proposing with a pear-shaped diamond ring. Sanders also presented Holland with a tiny diamond ring as a birthday present.

"Charles proposed in front of all our friends and family [and] asked Holland's permission," Rose said.

"He took me outside and did it, and then we came back in and did her birthday cake and put a baby diamond ring on there for her."

"He is so amazing with Holland and it meant so much to me that he asked her permission to marry me too and presented her with her own tiny diamond ring," she added.

Rose shares Holland with ex-fiance Galen Gentry. She said she and Sanders first met in high school, and have been "inseparable" since reconnecting at a family charity event.

Rose competed for Prince Lorenzo Borghese's affections on "The Bachelor" before appearing on the reality series "You're Cut Off!"

She later competed on "Bachelor Pad" Season 3, which featured former "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" contestants.
