The "Cousins" team became the fourth team eliminated from the around-the-world competition after they arrived at the Race's fifth Pit Stop at Landhannes Farm, a 200-year old working dairy farm, in Ehrwald Austria, Germany in last place.

"Our family right now -- we wanted to make them happy. These are my babies and I've been missing them a lot. They can learn a lot from their mom and their Auntie Kerri of how hard we worked. Who knew that two southern pink-lipstick wearing girls like us would make it this far. We're still awesome!" Stacy said following her team's ouster.

The fifth episode of The Amazing Race's twentieth season began where last week's broadcast left off, with the Race's eight teams meeting with The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan and leaving the course's fourth Pit Stop at Piazza Castello in Turin, Italy.

Since they had been the team to finish in first place at the Race's fourth Pit Stop, "Border Patrol Agents and Friends" Art Velez and J.J. Carrell were the first team to depart from Piazza Castello, also known as Castle Square, at 8:57AM.

They were then followed by "Married Couple" Dave Brown Jr. and Rachel Brown at 11:33AM, "Friends" Joey "Fitness" Lasalla and Danny Horal at 12:11PM, "Dating Divorcees" Vanessa Macias and Ralph Kelley at 12:27PM, "Federal Agents and Friends" Nary Ebeid and Jamie Graetz at 12:56PM, "Engaged Couple" and former Big Brother houseguests Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly at 1:18PM, Kerri and Stacy at 3:58PM, and "Friends" William "Bopper" Minton and Mark Jackson at 5:54PM.

Upon opening their departure clues, the teams were instructed to travel by train for 10 hours to Ehrwald Austria, Germany, and once there, drive across the border, make their way to the Gasthof Zum Rassen restaurant and then search for the Travelocity roaming gnome -- which would feature their next clue.

Bopper and Mark knew a Speed Bump task was awaiting them in the near future because they had arrived at the Race's fourth Pit Stop in last place, incurring the penalty as a result of the non-elimination leg.

Art and J.J. hopped on the first available train into Ehrwald and ended up sleeping at the train station overnight once they had discovered the restaurant didn't open its doors until 8:30AM. They resumed their Race at 6:30AM and hoped they could maintain their lead considering the other teams had plenty of time to catch up to them due to the delay.

Art and J.J. were met at the restaurant before it opened by Rachel B. and Dave and Joey and Danny, who had gotten seats on the next available train. The three teams received their next set of clues at the restaurant at the same time and learned it became time for them to complete one of two Detour tasks: "Fairy Tale" or "Champion Male."

"Fairy Tale" required the teams to follow a trail of gingerbread and pick up the pieces along the way. They had to walk to a fairy tale-inspired village and then find a witch's cottage with a portrait of storybook characters Hansel and Gretel. They then must use the pieces of gingerbread they had collected to complete the roof of a gingerbread house and decorate it properly. Once the witch was satisfied with their gingerbread house, they'd receive their next clue.

"Champion Male" required the teams to choose a champion-beard enthusiast and style his beard to match a winning look. Honoring a Bavarian tradition of men's sporting facial hair, they had to use hair-care products to shape the man's beard whom they had selected until not one hair was out of place. Once the man's beard matched the picture exactly, the teams would receive their next clue.

Art and J.J. -- although a couple of the teams had caught up to them at the restaurant -- still managed to be the first team to arrive at the Detour task, and they were then followed by Rachel B. and Dave and Joey and Danny. All three teams opted to take on the "Champion Male" Detour task and planned to have some fun with it.

Meanwhile, Brendon and Rachel R., Nary and Jamie, Kerri and Stacy, Bopper and Mark, and Vanessa and Ralph had all arrived in Ehrwald and rushed to the restaurant to receive their next set of clues. Kerri and Stacy got a little lost along the way and worried they fell behind all the other teams.

Upon their arrival at the Detour task following Joey and Danny, Bopper and Mark were instructed to complete their Speed Bump task -- which required them to perform an extra task before being able to join the other teams and attempting to complete the Roadblock task.

Bopper and Mark learned they must listen to an expert yodel and then master the skills of yodeling a specific tune. The team was required to hit all the right notes in order to receive their next clue.

Following Bopper and Mark, Vanessa and Ralph then arrived at the Detour task. They were soon followed by Brendon and Rachel R., Nary and Jamie and finally Kerri and Stacy.

Bopper and Mark completed their yodeling Speed Bump task quickly and efficiently and then selected the "Fairy Tale" Detour task. Brendon and Rachel R. and Kerri and Stacy had also decided to attempt the gingerbread task, and Kerri and Stacy had only a slight lead on Bopper and Mark since they had gotten lost and Bopper and Mark were forced to complete the Speed Bump task.

Vanessa and Ralph and Nary and Jamie took on the "Champion Male" task as well, and were following closely the three teams who had started the task before them.

None of the teams seemed to really struggle with either of the Detour tasks, except for Joey and Danny -- who claimed that because they had picked a man with the longest beard of the bunch, they had the most challenging bearded style to achieve -- and Brendon and Rachel R.

Art and J.J. were the first team to complete the Detour task, and they were soon followed by Rachel B. and Dave, Joey and Danny, Vanessa and Ralph, Nary and Jamie, Kerri and Stacy, Bopper and Mark, and Brendon and Rachel R.

Upon receiving their next set of clues, the teams had to figure out that they were looking for the Neuschwanstein castle, the palace and home of former Bavarian King Ludwig II, whose bedroom was where they'd find their next clue. The castle had also inspired the setting for the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty.

Rachel B. and Dave got a little lost attempting to find their way to the castle, allowing other teams to pass them.

Art and J.J., still running a strong leg, were the first team to arrive at the castle. They were soon followed by Joey and Danny, Vanessa and Ralph, Rachel B. and Dave, Nary and Jamie, Brendon and Rachel R., Kerri and Stacy, and Bopper and Mark.

Rachel B. and Dave, experiencing a bit more bad luck, and fellow Racers Nary and Jamie made a big mistake which cost them a lot of time. Both pairs entered the wrong castle, as two castles were fairly side-by-side on the grounds. They had to sign up for a tour and wait for it to begin in order to look around the castle.

It wasn't until the two teams wasted time touring the castle that their tour guide told them they were in the wrong location if they were looking for Ludwig II's old bedroom. Rachel B. and Dave and Nary and Jamie then realized they had to hustle and make their way over to the correct castle.

Art and J.J. were the first team to retrieve their next set of clues in one of the Neuschwanstein castle's bedrooms, and they learned they must drive themselves to an ice hockey and curling rink where they would find their next clue.

Following Art and J.J. were Joey and Danny, Vanessa and Ralph, Rachel B. and Dave, Nary and Jamie, Brendon and Rachel R., Kerri and Stacy, and Bopper and Mark.

While there was a horse-drawn carriage the Racers could choose to take to carry them up to the castle, Vanessa and Ralph and Joey and Danny -- who arrived at the bottom of the castle at the exact same time -- decided to hike up the hill and make their way to its entrance on foot. This decision caused Vanessa and Ralph to bicker because Vanessa was tired and lagging behind and Ralph believed she wasn't making much of an effort.

Art and J.J. were the first team to find the clue inside the Neuschwanstein castle, and they were then followed by Joey and Danny, Vanessa and Ralph, Nary and Jamie, Brendon and Rachel R., Rachel B. and Dave, Kerri and Stacy, and Bopper and Mark.

Once the teams received their next set of clues, they learned it was time to complete a Roadblock task. The Roadblock task required one member from each team to participate in a sixteenth-century winter sport known as Eisstock-Schiessen in which the team members must slide a gnome across the ice and land it in a small white bullseye in the middle of a large circle.

Art opted to do the Roadblock task for his team, and he was later joined by Danny, Ralph, Nary, Brendon, Rachel B., Kerri, and Mark.

Art and J.J. breezed through the Roadblock task, while Kerri and Stacy and Nary and Jamie really struggled with the task. The Race then seemingly came down to those two teams of women -- who were in last place at that point -- and who could land their gnome in the center circle first.

After Art and J.J. completed the Roadblock task, they were soon followed by Joey and Danny, Vanessa and Ralph, Rachel B. and Dave, Brendon and Rachel R., Bopper and Mark, Kerri and Stacy, and finally Nary and Jamie.

Once the teams finished the task at the ice rink, they learned they must take their gnome to Landhannes Farm, a 200-year old working dairy farm, which would serve as the Race's fifth Pit Stop.

Although Kerri and Stacy had a lead on Nary and Jamie leaving the Roadblock task, they unfortunately got lost for a second time during the leg and afforded Nary and Jamie the chance to pass them along the way.

Art and J.J. arrived at the Pit Stop mat and met Phil in first place. For finishing the leg before any of the other teams, the pair won a trip for two to Thailand.

Joey and Danny then arrived in second place, while Vanessa and Ralph subsequently secured third place.

Rachel B. and Dave then became team number four, while Brendon and Rachel R. were declared the fifth place team.

Bopper and Mark then made it to the Pit Stop mat and snagged sixth place.

Nary and Jamie made it to the Pit Stop mat afterwards and were greeted by Phil, who told them they had finished the leg in seventh place. Kerri and Stacy then arrived in eighth -- and last -- place.

"Kerri and Stacy, you are the last team to arrive, and I'm sorry to tell you that you've both been eliminated from the Race," Phil told the girls once they arrived at the Pit Stop.

"It was our navigating and we messed up today," Stacy said.
